Traditional Romanian wines, local grape varieties, wine tasting opportunities for solo travellers, groups, companies or families. Great selection of representative international wines, from both the Old World and the New World. Located in the Old Center (Lipscani), Corks is the most active winebar, organising regular tasting events and a wonderful atmosphere for its clients. Possibly the best wine bar in Bucharest.

Fantastic little wine bar with cozy atmosphere, a great selection of local and foreign wine and very nice cuisine too. I went there with 11 friends, we had several local wines, especially from the Feteasca Neagra grape, charcuterie platters and the owner joined us for a while. Great experience!

Nice wines, nice place of good taste in the Old Town of Bucharest

Nice wine bar in the Old Town of Bucharest, although the neighborhood is not very inviting. They have a big selection of Romanian wines and a small but tasty kitchen. Friendly people - both the staff and the customers - and it’s worth visiting especially in the evenings if you want a not too large crowd around you when you are sipping your glass of good wine. Also good for parties and business meetings but you maybe need to book and in advance so that you do not find yourself in a special tasting event (or another group’s party). Nice!

One of the best wine tasting experiences in Europe. The owner and head wine guy Ovi is a gem. Kind, and the most helpful wine steward, He arranged a tasting for 2 with 5 different wines with an excellent charcuterie board and your choice of duck, lamb or beef for about 38 euros. 2 excellent whites, a great rose and 2 strong but tasty reds and a revisit after dinner. For anyone that wants to know about the quality of wine in Romania this is the place to taste.

Great choice for good wine and delicious food. If you like to try the amazing Romanian wine served by friendly people you are right at this place. Visiting Bucharest I always have to show up at Corks.

Amazing vibes, amazing wines

If you want to have a get together in a nice friendly place with amazing wines, this is the place. Very intimate, with a personnel who understands the definition of a nice experience and, again, with one of the best selection of wines from all over the world. You can get a friendly family dinner like environment altogether with an amazing glass of wine and food to accompany the drink of your choice.

Great place! Small and cozy place with great music. The staff was very friendly and gave us some great tips for the wine. They treated us really well and offered us a little surprise in the end 🙏🏻🙏🏻 ( thank you guys!) We recommend the Romanian wines!

Cozy and Sensational

This place is a rare diamond just sitting around the corner waiting to be stumbled upon, as i did resently and had an amazing night of delicious food and sumptous wine. AND really lovely hospitality. I was a woman alone and was immediately made welcome by the gorgeous host Georgiana, staff and friends. Danced my socks off to the excellent resident dj and had such a good time. Will definately return to try more of the lovely dishes and fabulous everything..Highly recomend to anyone with heart and soul.

Fabulous spot with a comprehensive list of regional wines (and more), super-friendly staff and very mellow music. On the edge of the Old Town, and thankfully no tourist hustle. Exactly what we wanted on Christmas Day

Very nice! We were welcomed in a very familiar atmosphere! The place is quite intimate and it is a perfect place to spent a very nice and special evening! The wine presentation was quite exquisite! I highly recommend the place!

Romanian WINES are a blessing

We had an amazing wine experience with the Master himself! We were absolutely delighted with the tasting of Rominian wines and the history behind them. We will for sure be trying to find Romanians wine in the future back home! Just an amazing place !

Comfortable Wine Bar Experience

We were checking out several wine bars in Budapest to try various Romanian wines. Instead of a tour we simply chose several to spend our own amount of time enjoying. Cork’s was particularly comfortable sitting outside in the warm evening air with a couple recommended wines by Ovi. He is quite knowledgeable. Just by explaining the types of characteristics we like in a wine, he was like a wine magician and made them appear with good explanations about the grapes and their history. This is a nice little quiet wine bar that we would encourage others to enjoy.
