A lovely old house and courtyard. Left to look like a ruin. But actually a really nice, friendly and comfortable place to eat breakfast or burgers or salads. Nice quality food. Limited menu. Nice drinks too. Quite hard to find. But not expensive. We went...More

The look & feel of Dianei 4 is scrappy-shabby-chic (more shabby than chic), which I don't totally get, but I understand it's a trend so you might enjoy it :) It just has that old-house look. The menu, on the other hand, is rich and...More

This bar wasn't far from our hotel so we stopped in by for a nightcap a couple of times. We never ate here but the food looked good. The staff were friendly and the decor fantastic giving the bar a really nice cozy vibe.

Hidden in an old building just behing the Rossetti place. Nice vibe, old decorations, great background music. Friendly service. Nice choice of beers and wines. Food is poor-average.

This Gastropub has a short but sweet menu with fantastic dishes. The drink menu on the other hand is large and creative with a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere is lively, just be sure to book first!

Description
Music / dance / film / theatre / wine / fine spirits / craft beer and healthy food The house from Dianei Nr. 4 Has a complicated history. It's a history that has left traces. The base was probably built in the 19th century and it got the third level and the present design in the early 1920's. The house belonged to Mr. Eugene Fenster in the interwar period, but we do not know many things about him beside his 1947 phone number. In 1950 it was nationalized and it was used by several families until 1990. After that, it became the property of the state, in the use of the Foreign Intelligence Service. Eugene Fenster's heir regained the property of the house in 2007. Since then the house was not inhabited and later was sold to a private person. In this capitalism-communism-post communism succession it was our turn to intervene. The house was not inhabited for many years already and in a obvious state of decay. We started to repair it. We kept everything was possible. During the reconditioning work we discovered what was once a beautiful, spacious and friendly house. We have discovered it's secrets and imperfections and started to love her with her charm of a stylish old lady. We continue to work on it every day, to repair and descover.
