The service was excellent. The food also excellent , especially the octopus. The environment also very good, calm place with a wonderful decoration. I strongly recommend it.

When I read other reviews of this restaurant lauding it as ‘excellent’ or even jaw-droppingly as ‘one of the best restaurants in Bucharest’ I am reminded to always sift reviews more carefully before following recommendations. The restaurants own website also ‘paints a picture’ we found...unrecognizable in reality. This is a basic bistro with a limited menu served in what looks like an abandoned infant children’s classroom - with a takeaway counter added. Whist there was a high degree of willingness from the one and only front of house member of staff the ‘service’ was pretty chaotic and in the end rather hopeless. The fact that she was dealing with a constant stream of delivery drivers picking up takeaway packages, which seemed to have priority over the actual restaurant customers, hardly added to the attentiveness of the service or the atmosphere ! The food was only just OK but smallish portions served on smallish plates. Our main course was not as we’d ordered but by then we just accepted it as a further delay would have over prolonged this poor experience. The wine offer was also very limited. Overall, the reviews of this restaurant, from our experience, seem to be swayed by the tweeness of the place and the ‘home cooked’ authenticity. In reality, you can eat better and more enjoyably in dozens of other restaurants in Bucharest.More

The waitress is very sweet and polite. The food was very good and the pasta with shrimps was for real the best I’ve ever had. And I’m from a Mediterranean island so I’ve had a lot of shrimps in my life. Really cozy atmosphere and...good wine!More

The restaurant is cozy and intimate so you can really sit back and enjoy everything around. They serve delicious food, freshly prepared. We had a ginger home made soda and it was really special. As main courses we had the beef steak and the shrimp...pastas and they were both really really good. The two deserts are also delicious! Couldn’t say exactly which one was better because they are kind of different, but for the chocolate lovers, yeah, the chocolate tarte with figs is indeed delicious.More

The waitress was really nice and sweet. The food was okay-ish. It came a little bit too cold, pasta with shrimp was about nothing, duck was okay - we asked medium, but got almost well done.

Excellent food, and a really authentic restaurant. All the dishes were delicious and much better than any other restaurant in Bucharest. Not touristic place.

Beca's Kitchen is my favourite restaurant. Beca wants every time the best for her clients. Even now, in the pandemic time, she cooks with a lot of passion and she tries to find solutions to be with her clients and to cook for them.

Certainly one of my favorite places. The Pleurotus mushroom salad is simply won-der-ful and I order it every single time. The green peas and mint soup is probably THE best cream soup I have ever eaten. The hummus, the pumpkin soup, the lentil soup, the...salmon, the chicken - delicious. You can really feel the dedication and passion being put into every single recipe and the details (like the walnuts in the croutons) really make a difference. I hope we can go visit Beca’s Kitchen soon. I say “visit” because you really feel like you’re visiting one of your friends, not just going to a restaurant. Until then, we’re safely ordering takeaway using the website/delivery apps.More

Beca's is such a nice restaurant, tasteful yet unpretentious and cozy. On our most recent visit we just had an apple and pear tart, which was delightful - light and not too sweet, but just right so it makes you happy and not feel guilty...afterwards :). We have been there a few years ago as well for a full meal (don't remember exactly what we had) and now we had the pleasant surprise to find nothing changed, in the best sense.More

All the good things you have heard about Beca's Kitchen are absolutely true. Great food, friendly service and personal attention from Beca herself. ...and the food even managed to make a vegetarian out of a carnivore!
