Very nice athmosfere and food. Prices kind of high but worth to hive a try once in a while. There are things you usually don't make yourself daily.

Considering the history of the local you would expect to have at least a few tasty things to eat. Every time I went the food and the service was terrible.

It was ok but nothing especial. Nothing to complain about. Pricier than other restaurants we visited in Bucharest.

I went with my friends for dinner in the city center and they have recommended this place. We found a table without reservation, ordered some traditional food. The food was good. The only negative is the limited options of local wines and I think some...other popular dishes can be added in the menuMore

We was recommended by a local person to try a Romanian food in a restaurant called Lacrimi Si Sfinti, in general the food was good. Sadly that was ruined by how non-welcoming the female waiter was when we first entered the restaurant when she saw...my black boyfriend. Her body language showed us how unwilling she was to help us, until a blond nice guy assisted us and took charge of our service (Such an amazing gentleman and I have nothing but positive comments for him). During the entirety of our meal (1.5 hours) She her best to avoid eye contact and in order for us to not call her, and when we did call her to ask about WiFi password she just ignored us and refused to come and help. Basically I was so uncomfortable To eat there as I can see her and her friend (one other female waiter) kept gossiping and turning their back on us to not call them. I advise the owner of the restaurant to carefully pick his staff because the restaurant is in tourist area.More

I had the most strange experience while having a dinner in this restaurant ; it was ment to be a business -leisure dinner , biz- partners together with families , to offer my guests a hint on the real romanian traditional food ; the set...up was a little spartan , wooden chairs a bit stiff , little room when the principal hall was crowded ; the waiter did a very good job under these circumstances , the food was really good , so were the drinks ; but if we tried to exchange some words or ideas, it was almost impossible due to the neighbouring noise and mostly due to the musicians who came all the time -a little too insistent ; the desert was a little disapointing - I had plum dumplings which weren't the same as they used to be at my old people's house....More

I visited here with my mum on the last night of our holiday. We were recommended this place by a walking tour guide. Lovely restaurant- modern and quirky with a modern twist on traditional Romanian food. The staff were lovely and welcoming and there were...all kinds of parties- locals, work friends and some tourists although it definitely is not a “tourist place”. Something personal happened while we were here and the staff were so lovely, non judgemental and accommodating- making sure we were fine and not making a fuss at all. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you for a lovely last night.More

Really enjoyed my meal here. It felt like a real Romanian experience in a traditional and rustic ambience. The food was simple but tasted great. I would visit again and would recommend to others.

Evening visit after 10 pm: - food was simply overcooked (for example the lamb was overcook) - wine (merlot) was .. meh. There are so many other better options. - very expensive - clothes smelled! How can a restaurant be decent if your clothes smell...after ???? Other than that, normal serving.More

I am a celiac myself and I ate there without problems. Make sure you have the gluten free Romanian card to show them in case the waiter doesn't know English very well. About dairy free - shouldn't be a problem, they have... More
