Interesting in the city

I visited this restaurant together with my friends, being curious about how to eat in a Cuban restaurant. I mention that the staff is kind, the service is quite fast, the prices are reasonable. What I would expect from the next visit would be a stronger note of the food, which would make you realize that it is different. I'm referring to the fact that, although the ingredients were fresh, my dish of beef with rice and fried potatoes could be cooked exactly the same at home, with some common ingredients. The atmosphere was very nice, live music, all the customers resonated. Unfortunately, our table was in a separate room where we could not see the stage. We had to move to the main hall, a bit strange to take our valuables with us. Obviously, we also paid the fee for the orchestra - 8 euros/person. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and we are thinking of coming back. Only if we find a table in the main hall.

Delicious Cuban food

A delicious restaurant serving wonderfully tasty dishes. We had the tamales which were soft and comforting, like a hug on your plate, the stuffed calamari which my husband raved about and the pork ribs that were so delicious I ate way too much! We also had really good margaritas. I want to come back and try more dishes. The portion sizes are full so you'll leave satisfied. You should come here for the friendly and welcoming service and stay for the food. 100% recommend while you are in Bucharest!

The only cuban restaurant in Bucharest

A truly authentic cuban experience. The food was not very varied but good, all the staff was latino and at night they have mariachi or other latino shows for which if you want to attend you will pay a 40lei/person tax on the bill. But it is worth it.

Great band and ambiance, awful food, slow service.

5 Stars for the entertainment and the drinks : the band, the singer and the ambiance were great ! 1 star for the food. Everything was awful, tastes frozen food, no fish in the ceviche de pescado for 50 Lei…a disgrace to Cuban and Latin American food. 2 stars for the service : very friendly staff but way too slow (1 hour to get the starters served).

The atmosphere was electric, with colorful décor and a bustling crowd. The food? Absolutely mouthwatering. Every dish was bursting with flavor, from the ropa vieja to the crispy tostones. And let's not forget the music – it was simply fantastic, adding to the lively vibe. Overall, dining here was an incredible experience. Highly recommended!

Full of life and exotic venue for exotic foods and drinks

One of my favourite places in Bucharest. I really feel like I’m not in Bucharest but somewhere in Latin America. The food is something special, with plates you don’t really find anywhere else here. The drinks are also a highlight with authentic cocktails. Last but not least, the service is the best. Jair is always the soul of the plage. All are very lively and friendly. Also great music , with special parties on the weekends with live Latino singers. Don’t miss out on the discounts in the weektime.

This place transports you to Cuba, exceptionally well-designed with impeccable service. People truly go out of their way to make you feel good and want to come back. The food was good, certainly not for all tastes, but worth trying.

Great ambience, solid food.

The ambience is nice, as there is live music and cute decorations, great colors. I am very grateful to any establishment that serves yuca frita, so this also a big plus for this restaurant. The food itself generally I think was fine too.

Great food, friendly stuff and the music is awesome. You won’t feel like home, but you definetly feel like Cuba! You have to meet Papi the authentic cubanos cook. He will recommend the right dish for you!

Amazing place. I think is the best in Bucharest. If you are looking for pork ribs where the meat falls off the bone this is the place for you.
