I've been there twice, the first time, was with my friend and very excited about that place, friendly stuff and a very good choice of wines, the second time was on a date, the stuff was rude, 4 servers served us, all of them were...More

A beautiful building, hosting a great book-store, complemented by a perfect green terrace, so peaceful and calming, in the busiest spot of Bucharest center. Great in spring. Maybe the best brownie I have had in my life.

We heard about this garden cafe and made a special effort to find it. Was worth the bother. The garden is spacious but service was good. Sat for as long as we pleased. Browsed in the book shop while we were at it. Great selection...More

I was at Cafe Verona (it's cold season so the terrace is closed but the indoor place they have is a nice one too) for lunch. Ordered the hummus which came with absolutely delicious bread, so that was a very good appetizer. For the main...More

The place is nice but the food and service was terrible. asked for potato with salmon, it was so bad so I called the waiter explaining that it is impossible to eat that meal, to which she answered “it is a receipt”. Ok..what does it...More

This is one of the best spaces in Bucharest, the location is as secluded as possible in the center of the city. They are quite understaffed and do not always offer what is listed on the menu, which can be a big downside.

This place is on top of my list each time it comes to choose a nice little terrace in Bucharest and it has never disappointed me. Great food, friendly and polite staff, the service may be a bit too slow when it's really crowded, but...More

It is a lovely place. I feel like home in the garden. Lovely to meet with friends and eat something or dink a big lemonade. Staff is friendly and ready to help you with anything. You have to try the various types of lemonade and...More

It was enough to go at this location once to never want to come back again. The food has nothing special, small portions and very overpriced and the service is so, so bad. I don't understand why anyone would come here when there are far...More

Located in a shady area behind a large bookshop, this outdoor cafe and restaurant did great quality food and drinks in a beautiful setting. The other clientele were largely a mix of local hipsters and well-heeled city folk. Ideal spot for lunch or a drink...More

I can't remember which day we visited but I think in May 2017. I also don't recall any problems with the bill, so far as I remember the bill was fair and accurate. Same answer as before

Description
An oasis of peace and green in the middle of the city, with friendly waiters and a good vibe. Romanian wines by the glass, natural home made drinks and vegetarian/vegan friendly food. Great for long lazy afternoons or laid-back evenings out on the terrace with friends, while for brunch it makes a brilliant (and bargain) alternative to the big, expensive hotels. A must see for the first visit to Bucharest.
