Excellent for People Watching

This cafe is located just outside of our hotel so we came here for a quick glass of wine one night and also came back the next day for a quick lunch. Love the atmosphere, and vantage point to watch the world go by. The cafe is located at the entrance to the heart of the old town, and has... read more

The food and coffee was excellent and reasonable priced it was ideal for a breakfast/lunch. Very chilled out atmosphere and the staff were friendly. Will definitely come back here.

We came here for a late breakfast/early lunch and were not disappointed. it was great value for the quality of food we received as well as great service. We would have returned if our trip was longer. Definitely try it out!

We waited for 20 minutes to be served and another 40 to receive a one course meal which was quite plain and disappointing.

I've just called for a table reservation for Sunday afternoon (not a peak hour), and been informed that it is mandatory to have a consummation of minimum 50 lei/person? Is that a joke? Is this the only way to book a table in a fancy cafe?? ..really sorry, but this is non-sense..is it something that is being posted on your... More

Once in a while, I go to Van Gogh and it always has a great atmosphere. The food is good and the service is very nice. I had a problem once, the wrong type of quesadilla was brought to me, but they changed it very quickly and they also didn't charge any money (so I actually only paid for the... More

It is a nice place, where you can have breakfast, brunch, lunch and a light dinner. Good meals, good service. Nice people around and very nice music (blues, jazz, etc...) in the background. Recommended!

Nice place, good service. Upstairs has a non-smoking area. Downstairs has all of ambiance, including the cool crowd. The food is good, but just slightly overpriced. The only negative is that the menu needs some work. After three visits, I had tried all of the foods that I enjoy.

I was so glad that the Van Gogh was next door to my hotel, The Rembrandt, as it was the only place we could find that offered a section upstairs for non smokers, what a relief as all the other bars and restaurants were covered in a haze of smog. It was all very hi-tech too as there was a... More
