We ate here whilst in Bucharest. We wanted somewhere refined and with good food and ambience. This venue came up via a quick search on Trip Advisor and luckily was available at short notice on a Saturday night.
The servers were all pleasant and the dining room modern and spacious. There was also a pianist.
For food we had the scallops with chorizo and the lamb pastilla. The scallops were tender and well cooked, and the lamb pastry good if a little thick in places although a good facsimile of the Morrocan original.
Mains of confit goose leg with truffle mash and pork tenderloin with duchesse potatoes were excellent although the pork and the duchesse were a little dry on top suggesting too longer under the hot plate. Minor complaint, however.
Desserts of apple caramel releiguese and lemon pavlova were very nice.
We also had a good organic Romanian pinot noir from the extensive wine list. Definitely recommend this venue, and we would return.

The perfect place to enjoy the various types of food, including great fish and sea food recipes together with the vegan offers. And the desserts are amazing.
It is very close to Romanian Atheneum and Victoriei Boulevard, less than five minutes walking, appropriate to have a great dinner when being hosted to one of the hotels nearby.

We have been to this restaurant before, last year on the birthday of some friends.
Because we liked it, this year we celebrated the 19th anniversary of our marriage.
And to see the full side of the glass, although there was no one inside the restaurant (they were on the terrace), it was romantic.
We served 2 kinds of entrees, 2 main dishes, Romanian white wine Ana, 2 desserts. Refinement, good taste and impeccable service.
A wonderful time in these difficult times.
It was the last night before the current lockdown of restaurants in Bucharest ...
Total price 120 euros.
I hope to have more special days, to celebrate there !!!

I consider this restaurant above average.
On the last visit one food that I took was some Brazilian recipe with seafood - seafood mix was awful and below expectations also I had some stomach problems in that evening from food...
Overall is a nice location both inside and outside and very professional staff
I think I will revisit them but I hope will review their raw materials
I still recommend it but maybe is better to check with waiter about the chosen food

We chose Savart from Trip Advisor reviews. It's a smart but not stuffy gourmet restaurant with an interesting and varied menu, including a vegan menu. To start we chose the vegetable and tofu samosas (more like spring rolls), which came with a moreish dip, and also mushroom, leek and tomato tart. For main courses we chose noodles with mushrooms and edamame, and an unusual chickpea salad. We enjoyed it all very much. Valentine, our efficient and attentive waiter, helped us with the choice of excellent Romanian wine. Apart from the music (modern jazz, but not loud and intrusive), it was a thoroughly positive experience. Many thanks to all.

Having had high hopes for a special meal we were soon disappointed. The (pictured) aubergone souffle starter was dense and the parmentier resembled school dinner though tasted OK. The disaster was 'lobster catalan' which had no trace of the promised bisque. On enquiry we were advised it was blended into the utterly tasteless bechamel filling (pictured). There was just one piece of lobster and the fennel was raw. Having sent it back, we were offered an alternative and took a mediocre veal milanese in the interests of speed as my pasta dish was already congealing. It arrived as I finished.
In fairness they offered us free dessert which we declined. We suggested they shouldn't charge us for the failed main dish but they declined.
The waitress was excellent but sidelined by the senior waiter who showed no interest in customer service and apparently doesn't care if they get bad reviews. Given how many restaurants there are in Bucharest, suggest you avoid this one.

People seem to throw around too easily "fine dining", "gourmet food" and other related expressions. Those should be relative to the food itself, not the pricing. I really expected do be at least pleasantly surprised by the food (although I'd have preferred to be impressed, considering the bill). Overall, I wasn't. Out of four dishes, only one was worth mentioning. I had similar food (but finger-licking good) at half the price in a non-pretentious bistro in my neighborhood.
Although I love spicy food, I had some shrimps that were unnecessarily hot, with way too much sweet chili sauce, overpowering everything else.

I went there on 28th of August with my mom. Unfortunately our dinner came so late and even though i requested the hamburger well done it was medium or even rare cooked which is even confirmed by the waiter.
They did not do anything to correct their mistakes. I am definitely not going there again if i come to Bucharest again.

We went to have lunch there and the lady at the entrance told us that there were no available tables, although we could see that only 2 tables were occupied. She only told us that there are no free tables when she saw that our 3 years old was with us (he is very polite and well-behaved). Very unfriendly services.

Dear sir,
We are usually fully booked and specially that day we had a private event on the rooftop so all the reservations were for the garden. Even there were only 2 tables occupied the moment you pass, we were waiting for the reservations. We strongly recommande to book a table before because there are days when we have to refuse the people without reservation.
We are kids friendly/dogs friendly so no, it was not because of your child.

If you wish to dine in a refined restaurant in Bucharest, then this is the one for you. It has a good ambiance, correct service, tasty delicious fare all well presented with good unobtrusive music in the background. The day we visited it, there was service only in the garden (possibly for a lack of staff). The prices are a bit high and the portions smaller, as befit a more gourmet restaurant. Recommended.

The terrace is lovely,minimal decoration in neutral colours.The food is fine!! What I liked the most was the desert "Religieuse"! Well it is DIVINE! The small amount of sugar allows the other flavours to be felt in the cake.It was one of the best sweets I had ever eaten! Congratulations to the chef!

Based on the food we have eaten in Bucharest this should be a five star rating but I’ll give it four based on my experience from other countries and cities. Really worth visiting if you are in Bucharest.
Cosy place (we sat outside), clean and modern. Jazzy music, not to loud. Good and swift service although not describing the food nor recommending anything on the menu.
Food was wonderful. We had crispy rolls and roasted beetroot’s as starters and these dishes was homemade and made with love. Compliments to the chef!
Main course was linguine with garlic and shrimps and a goat cheese salad. Unfortunately the salad had some sort of pepper (couldn’t really identify what kind) which my companion didn’t like but otherwise it was really good. Linguine had the right amount of “garlicness” and spice to it.
Portions normal size. All and all a place to recommend and a place we will revisit if coming back to Bucharest.

We went for our wedding anniversary, the location and terrace are very nice, so was the food.
We are sorry though that our waiter, even though we were the only table occupied being a Tuesday afternoon, he was just doing his job, I mean as a job and nothing more, that cold impersonal bored way of behaving and talking made us feel like a guest who comes to visit in the wrong moment. Which was a shame as everything else was nice.
We skipped dessert and went somewhere else, even though i read some good reviews for them.
Also he was wearing his mask under the chin, and the gloves... Didn't seem to fulfil their scope.
I hope the service will improve because the restaurant deserves it.

We were staying at the Plaza Athenee and asked the hotel concierge to recommend a nearby restaurant. We loved it. We sat in their lovely outdoor garden. They have a very innovative cocktail menu and a decent wine list. There were three of us, so we tried the veal chop, the salmon and the burger. All were excellent. Don’t miss the goose fat potatoes or the homemade fries that come with the burger. We didn’t leave room for dessert, but I’m guessing it was good! Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food.
