The restaurant is very good looking, with a small shop at the entrance. The service was good and the food tasted excellent in the beginning. I ordered an Argentinian steak with grilled vegetables, which were brought on a large block of salt. The juice of the grilled vegetables made a little puddle in the middle of the block, eroding it and becoming saltier and saltier with each movement. Otherwise, the meat was cooked very nice.

Amazing, freshly made food! I had the prosciutto mozzarella mushroom and baby basil pizza and my husband had the spaghetti with marinara..................both made with love and ate like a warm Italian hug. Highly recommended if you are in Bucharest!

Been at Sara for a dinner. Initially attracted by the concept: an italian restaurant that offers the option to buy different food ingredients, food products, etc.
Sara is a nice place with plenty of attention to details. Everything decoration looks new and carefully selected.
The food was as expected: fresh and very tasty. A bit pricey but nothing extreme.
Wine choices by glass were not many but quite good.
The staff was friendly even if we arrived late and were the last customers leaving.
The place is pretty small and tables are close to each-other so it can get quite noisy when full.
Overall, a really enjoyable place with delicious Italian food.

I really don’t see how this can be one of the best Italian restaurants in Bucharest. First of all, the waiter messed up our orders. We asked for amatriciana without any parmesan, but the paste we recieved had pecorino romano, which I find quite odd to serve to someone that asked for no cheese. Besides this, the food really wasn’t great. The pasta tasted ok, however the pancetta was only fat, no meat at all and quite disgusting. The pizza we ordered was very oily and had very burnt crusts, almost unedible. The prices are 100% not worth it, taking into consideration the quality of the food. Nice design of the restaurant though.

It is one of the best meals I’ve ever had: delicious food, good wine and professional staff.
After reading the reviews we wanted to have New Year Eve dinner in SARA. They opened the restaurant just for us and treated perfectly well.
The food is just AMAZING: the chef pasta was delicious and the pizza, among the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve eaten quite a lot). Super delicious dough, thin but with thick borders, quality ingredients and cooked perfectly.
I would love to come back and try all the menu!

Give it 3 stars, ONLY for the food!!! Food was great.
Service - really bad. Had a male waiter, unprofessional and rude. Tried to sell wine without giving out wine list ?? Asked again for wine list, but he had a wine to 100 lei, asked again for wine list, and then he just looked so upset, and gave me the wine list.
Found a wine to 50 lei, Lumbrassco, he then said he didn’t have that one, but suddenly the wine came to the table. Got the check, wine was suddenly 85 lei, I told him the price is wrong, He just got upset, arguing the price is different than menu, and boss didn’t change the prices.
Rude, unprofessional and a liar. I wanna ask that waiter, to put your self in a guest situation, how do you like to be treated, spoken to by a person who works in service?

The restaurant is small and beautifully appointed allowing the patrons to enjoy their meals while having a chat as well.
The staff was very professional and looked after us in a discreet and careful manner.
The food was beyond excellent, fresh, tasty and fantastically presented. The wine was very good as well.
We are visiting from Sydney where there is a very strong Italian community, with plenty of restaurants; the experience we had at Sara was equal if not better to that in Sydney.
There is also a delicatessen shop where you can buy wonderful cheeses, charcuterie, sauces and the like.

This small cozy restaurant has an interesting concept. At the entrance you can find a small shop with a variaty of cheese, meat, sweets and wine. People are nice, service is ok. The food is excelent, real italian food. All the ingredients are italian and perhaps that’s Why the taste is so original. If you pass throught Bucharest, dont miss this restaurant.

My boyfriend took me here and I was a bit skeptical at first because I wasn’t sure where he was taking me, but I have to say 100% that this might be the best pizza I’ve ever had. I had a Quattro stagioni pizza and it was so delicious and incredibly large so I had to take most of it to go.
The place also has a bunch of Italian products for sale, in like half of the place, like a supermarket setting. The restaurant part however, was very quiet and nice. I would also recommend the beer there. All in all a good experience.

The food was really delicious and the atmosphere found there at SARA was nice. I love that smell of Italian food when you visit a restaurant. We had a table close to the cooking area and this was nice because you have the chance to see what the cook is preparing.

We only ate once at this restaurant and I can say there are positives and negatives.
Positives: 1)Catia the waitress was very good at her job, smiling and assured that we have anything we need.
2)Nice atmosphere calm music in the right volume.
3)Reasonable prices.
4)I had liguini with seafood which was fine and warm as it should.
5)Also the menu was nice with many choices. For all tastes.
Negatives: 1)when we arrived at the restaurant about 1:30 hour before the closing time a young blond boy Waitrose was cleaning. And when he saw us entering the restaurant I could immediately understand that he was not happy to see us there. Also when he was talking he was talking so quiet that we couldn't hear anything.
While we were getting served he started mopping until another waitress told him to stop.
2)the white whine bottle that we ordered came warm. That was hard only for the first glass since the next ones were fine since the wine was in ice.
3)my girlfriend's plate the pork with the potatoes you can see in the photo. Came cold. And you could tell it was already cooked and unsuccessfully reheated.

Pretty and welcoming place. Great healthy and dietetic dishes, but also amazing pasta and pizza. Had one of the best mille feuille with blackberries and the receipe seemed unique. Good prices for great quality.

If you want to taste the best pizza in Bucharest, THIS is the place. You can feel the flavor of every ingredient of it. It also has an Italian-spice&food shop and it's lovely. The reason I rated it 4* instead of 5 is because the atmosphere is pretty plain and simple, and it's an extremely casual restaurant.

Excellent food and service. Worth the trip to Bucharest. A combination of a shop and restaurant with a great chef. Got the tagatalia with octopus - highly recommended. And let the waiter bring you you the dessert - it is worth the calories.

Probably the best Italian restaurant in Bucharest. They serve fresh ingredient. We have been customers since before the pandemic and nothing has been changed. Impeccable food, THE BEST pizza (i love the seafood one) in Romania and there are a lot of imported products from Italy.
