We went here for a family lunch on a weekday. The restaurant is located in a somewhat suburban setting, and the interiors have a good ambience with good music. The restaurant was not that busy when we visited. The service was friendly and attentive. The mocktails were good, the nada colada in particular was excellent. The food tasted fresh and was of good quality, the condiments were great. There were several vegetarian options on the menu, of which the starters were better than the main courses in taste, as the stuffing in the latter (i.e. the enchilada/chimichanga) was somewhat minimal/sparse and did not really leave one satisfied. The churros were very good. Overall we enjoyed our visit and would not mind visiting again but only if we happen to be nearby.

This was my first visit to this restaurant for several years. It did not disappoint. The food is fantastic, fresh and beautifully prepared. The flavours are perfectly balanced. This is probably the best S American restaurant in Bucharest for having a small but varied menu to suit everyone from carnivores to vegans. It is good value for money and the staff are great.

I have been travelling in Romania for the last two weeks and had some good food, but this was without a doubt the best! The food was delicious and service was prompt and friendly. The patatas bravas were the best I have ever tasted (better than any I have had in Spain) and it is clear that everything is cooked from fresh. The chocolate lava cake was a delight too. If I visit Bucharest again I would definitely be coming back here.

Based on the reviews and an experience with them at heir old location I made a reservation for 4 persons. And we were all disappointed. It is more a fast food restaurant then what they pretend to be. As fast food they would score a 6 out of 10. Two people ordered Salat with Halloumi and both asked explicit without onions. When we were served the 2 persons who ordered the salad with halloumi received salad with chicken. They had to wait 15 minutes and then they received the right salad but both with onions. Disappointing. All four we didn't understand our experience compared with the reviews. Maybe we were just not lucky.

Blue Margarita is the place of choice for our Friday evening date :) It is great to have dinner, enjoy a drink or just relax after a long week. The food is delicious (especially the fajitas) and the margaritas are sublime.
It si also one of the few places in Bucharest where you can find Brazilian dishes. If you haven't done it before you must try a xinxim.
Overall, highly recommended!

I had tried to make reservations at Blue Margarita two times, but the first time they were in the middle of moving and the second time they had a private party. The wait was worth it.
We had a minor hiccup with the service. Unintentionally, our server forgot to bring the guacamole we order for an appetizer before the main dishes. When we told him, he asked if we still wanted it (of course we did) and he quickly brought it to the table.
The food was spicy, but not so hot you couldn't taste the food, I am very familiar with Mexican (or TexMex) food since I lived in Texas for three years, For my wife, the non-meat eater, we found a nice Brazilian fish dishBahia Moqueca and I had an Argentine Steakm Antricot de Vita, Both dishes has subtle, excellent flavors. I ordered my meat rare, expecting medium rare, but the interior of this 2" thick rib eye was perfectly rare.
All in all a very good meal, pleasant and attentive staff. We were very happy with the location, the food and the atmosphere.

We came here for a romantic birthday evening. The place looks nice, a type of diner atmosphere and nicely decorated. The staff was very nice and proffesionnal. We had one blue margarita and one strawberry margarita which were both so so so good, finally a cocktail where you can taste that good strong tequila blended well with the other tastes. We had a chicken taco and nachos with guacamole which were incredibly tasty. Second plates we had a chicken chimichanga and a pork burrito...man the portions were huge and so tasty, filled with incredible meats, vegetables, beans puree, spices, guacamole and cream. The only minus is that it was too much and we were too full for dessert :)) just joking. Also, the atmosphere was compleated by a guitarist singing wonderful, mostly latino music of latino reinterpretations. This is one of the best places in Bucharest so don't hesitate!! Ps: i saw that you can take food to go or order online, nice touch!

If you want to fall in love with Mexican food, search no further. Everything about the place makes it a true authentic experience ... aside from the mouthwatering food, the service deserves an additional star over and above my five-star rating.
Also the place has sooooooooo many vegan options, it’s nice to finally have a dine-in place that caters to the V-peeps :)
I can’t talk enough about this place ... so to shut me up I suggest you come try it for yourself

A new location in posh Dorobanți neighborhood. Not only was the food tasty, but the neighborhood itself is a cool place to wander around and explore. Every time time that I go here, I am always impressed with the selection of different styles of food on the menu. If you are ever in Bucharest and have a taste for Brazilian, Mexican or Argentinian food, this is definitely the place to go.

The restaurant has moved so we spent a lot of time finding the location. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall, but because of TA I insisted we go. We could not be more satisfied! The margaritas are AMAZING. The food is authentic and perfect. The service is quick and polite. Absolutely amazing Mexican food. You must try this pearl. Make reservations in the weekend.

Would recommend any time! Burrito or chimichanga and a pitcher of that mango & chilli margarita - omg - pure happiness! 😁 I went multiple times to this place, for lunch and dinner, it was amazing every time. The staff is super nice and friendly, fast service, everything is clean and the overall vibe of the place is very chill. To anyone who's thinking Mexican food - go to Blue Margarita! 😊

The food good, the service awful. Even if most of the tables were empty we were seated outside because we had no reservation. First we were served a desert that was another table’s order. After we did not get our food for an hour. After one hour we were asked what our order was because they forgot. Not recommended for hungry people. Only if you have some hours to lose. At the end we only got an apology. No discount, no nothing. Just a “sincere apology”. No fiscal bill at the end.

Dear NoraIoana,
I am sorry for the bad experience you had in our restaurant. This is definitely not what usually happens nor how we normally do things. We were one man down yesterday, and as l'm sure you saw extremely busy, and sometimes mistakes happen. At the end of the day, we are only human.
First of all, l would like to explain that you were given a table outside not because we didn't want to sit you inside, but because all the tables inside were reserved. Second of all, we had a waiter's help who was on his first shift yesterday. He was roughly 2h into his first shift when he brought a dessert to you which was meant for a different table. Normally we wouldn't have allowed him to take food out by himself, but being as understaffed as we were we had to make do. I apologize for this.
My waiter did forget to put your order through in due time, and that is what he apologized so profusely for. It's something that should never happen, however, when you are trying to do 10 different things at once, it can happen. We are human and we make mistakes. He made absolutely every effort he could have to rush your order through to the kitchen, but as you saw we had a full house and the back was busy too. He should have come to me and asked me to talk to you, but l was on the bar covering for our colleague who is sick (hence why we were one man down). He knew that stopping me would only make things worse for other tables waiting on drinks. I had an at length conversation with him last night about this and decided on a better course of action for the future.
As for your fiscal bill, please feel free to contact us if you would like an invoice. I will be more than happy to provide it. I apologize that my waiter didn't get the chance to run it back to you.
As for discounts, it's not something that we normally practice because situations like this one almost never happen with us. Hence why my waiter didn't even consider it.
Once again, l'm sorry you didn't catch us in our finest moment. But one person's honest mistake doesn't mean that our customers regularly wait for hours for their food. We wouldn't be where we are if that were the case. Behind my business there is a family (of us owners and staff that have been with us for years), and we have all worked very hard for everything we have achieved. I understand that compassion is gone out of this world, l see it every day. But please don't make such generalistic assumptions based on one person's bad moment, for which he and l both have profusely apologized.
At the end of the day that's all we have to offer for being human. A sincere apology.

We came here again to see the new location and taste the delicious food again. The food...just incredible as the last time. The service was excelent. The thing is i kinda miss the old location, it felt a bit more like a restaurant in contrast to the new location with no windows as it's below ground level. but...the food itself makes a 5 star plus result!!

In center place of Bucharest. My personal opinion regarding the garden, if they add some Spanish/mexican atmosphere, would be much nicer

A beautiful location, cosy place and nice atmosphere.
Excellent food and useful, kind and polite staff.
I kindly asked them for an isolated table, as possible as could be, for we had a small baby with us, and they kept their word.
Bravo, keep it this way!
