Nice interior setting, good service, good Sushi, good deserts. Tasty Miso and Udon soups. Also other good dishes worth to try: the veggie pan, the teriakis, Tuna Karage… Good Kimchi, althou sometimes it seems not fermented enough. Not sour but just salty and spicy, that is. Also the pork in Kimchi sauce was too salty and the Torikatsu a little bit too greasy. But all in all, it is a good option, maybe the best Japanese restaurant in town.

Great Sushi restaurant

Top three in town. Preferable not to go without reservation. All products are very fresh, tasty and good looking. Strongly recommend 👍

Good sushi, worst ramen

Let's get the bad part out of the way first : the ramen. I've been to Japan multiple, i'm a huge ramen but the ramen here was half of ramen. I'm saying this because it lacked the shoyuu tare (タレ) component. At first I've thought they've forgot mine but i saw that my friend who ordered the same thing had the same problem. So in the end it tasted more like a light soup and I've had to improvise and add the Shoyuu sauce myself in order to make it taste like ramen. The dish is called Shoyu Ramen btw. The sushi on the other hand was fresh and good. It looked and tasted great. If you're a ramen lover, avoid this place. If sushi is your thing then you're in luck.

Over hyped and average

Had dinner with a friend on our city break to Bucharest. Ordered 2 plates of sushi and a bowl of shoyu ramen to share. Salmon on the sushi tasted ok but the texture is rough and weird as it does not melt in your mouth as good quality salmon cut do. The wasabi doesn’t taste as wasabi do, tasteless so to speak really. The ramen arrived luke warm and when we asked for it to be warmed up hotter, the waitress looked at us as if it is a ridiculous request. Service is ok, not very friendly and no smiles at all. Ordered an apero spritz that had so much ice in it that you can hardly taste it so no good there. For me, I would not go there again as the sushi and service are both average but not the price - too expensive for the food to be average.

We were looking for a sushi restaurant and I am very happy we decided to give Edo sushi a try. The outside seating space is very nice, it incorporated the existing tree and it fits well together. I found the menu very good, also their plates of mixed sushi were very well put together. The sushi was great. It was fresh, it looked very nice and it tasted delicious. The communication devices with the staff on the table are a great idea, both for customers, as for staff. It shortes waiting time for customers and avoids empty runs for staff. Really good idea. We had some waiting time for our food to arrive, but we didn't mind. The atmosphere was nice, the staff friendly and the food was great. I will go again, for sure. Congrats, Edo Sushi, we had a very pleasant dining exprience. See you soon, keep up the good work!

We arrived without a reservation, the waiter was great and placed us, though the restaurant was full. The place is beautiful, the food is awesome and the waiters are excellent

The serving is impressively good, the waiter was the kindest waiter I’ve seen. The food was delicious, We order some salmon sushi And something called meat emotions for 2. I will definitely come back.

Best sushi experience in town

Edo Sushi & Garden is a small place on Stirbei Voda, a long street in the city centre, but not very advertised, which i like:) I think the sushi lovers can easily spot their best places. I did yesterday! The offer is so interesting: speaking about the sets/combos, they are very diverse and even big, recipes and plating I have never seen at any restaurant in Bucharest. They use micro-plants to decorate the plates, which I love. It is not very crowded, the serving is great and the taste is incredible! Come and take a look & a bite! Love

The ramen was very very good and also the sushi was exceptional!i think is one of the best sushi place in Bucharest!you have to try ramen with fish or seafood!the waisters was very nice and the food was fresh and tasty!Thank you for experience and deffinitly will came again !For Sushi here is the place in Bucharest!

Cozy experience in a welcoming restaurant

I spent some hours with my wife for a romantic dinner. I chose this restaurant after seeing the menu because I am not eating sushi and I was looking for a perfect mix between sushi place and something else for me, most probably meat. The experience was really nice, the waiter was welcoming and. More than that, I loved the design of the place and the diversity of people taking dinner there. The food was tasty and the prices are really good. Just a not positive remark I can make, the wine menu is not the best and they might work more on it.

Stays true to its name. Good sushi and that's about it

The experience was a mix of good and bad. The sushi is quite enjoyable and the seafood miso soup was decent. However, the pork gyoza and shoyu ramen did not vaguely resemble what they should taste like. The gyoza was fatty and lacked taste. The ramen soup had an instant noodle taste and the pork meat in in was low quality. Service was polite and the location is nice. Tables are quite close together, so private discussions are out of the question. All in all, if I were to visit again and wanted an overall good experience, I would only go for the sushi.

Worst ramen in Bucharest

The ramen is horrible; tastes like instant soup. The edamame were uncooked. The sushi was ok but there are so many other better places to choose from. Avoid this one.
