We dined here twice and really enjoyed the meals served in the cosy courtyard. Every 15 minutes or so four dancers perforrned a traditional dance and then disappeared again, enabling the guests to enjoy their food without too much interruption.

I've been there many times because i love the Location and the food, their sweets are the best so I'm rating that with 5, but i really hate their service which is the worst in Sarajevo! I always leave a tip but not for them because they never deserve it!

Ate here twice at the end of my stay in Bucharest. Both times the food was exceptional. Great folk entertainment on the weekends during your meal.

Visited yesterday thinking that it was something similar with Carul cu Bere but was definitely so wrong To me (and the rest of 4 of us) food was not by far quality price level ...waiting times long waitresses that didn't not ask if we needed more every now and then ...expensive tasteless ...salad came without the oil and vinegar on... We enjoyed our dinner at Vatra. It was walking distance from our hotel (Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest). We sat outside in the lovely courtyard. There is something on the menu for everyone including meats, stew, and fish. We also sampled the Romanian doughnuts with berry sauce for the first time. Mid-meal there was entertainment of music and dance by the... More

Very nice place, in the city center. Traditional tastefull dishes and very good staff. Espesially in the summer the small yard is very beautiful. For everyone who loves meat, taste the mici plate.I find it a little bit expensive but i recommend it. Good and quality food. Try also the red wine they serve.

Visited the restaurant out of curiosity after seeing the Tripadvisor rating. We found it average. Food was ok, serving was ok, decors were good. All in all, for how many restaurants are in Bucharest, we won't be eating there again.

I visited the restaurant just before flying back home. A nice place with friendly stuff. But to put the record straight I must add that some dishes have too much garlic (at least for my stomach!); it was so much that I had a stomach crisis upon arrival which lasted for almost 4 hours. I would suggest to moderate the... More

I like the place. The staff are very attentive and the most polite people ever. The food is ok, the glassed red wine very good. I might be wrong, but it seems that they don't have Wi-Fi on the terrace.
