The service was slow and unapologetic and the food was super slow to come out. The waiter suggested I get a small piece of fish to go with my mamaliga, which was probably the biggest piece they had in the kitchen and ended up being half the bill. Go somewhere cheaper.

I'm a citizen of this country but now not living there and always I come back I go there and knowing how should be the food and quality, I think they are very good doing it. Personal are very friendly.

Everybody at the restaurant is very welcoming. The atmosphere is charming. Food is amazing. It all starts with a small glass of house wine that is AMAZING. This is THE place to get a taste of Moldovan food and hospitality!

This is a real gem, good fresh food, traditional musical entertainment, have been there before and was just as good. Staff are friendly and mostly speak English. I recommend the lamb hotpot and quince vodka

Despite TripAdvisor informing us that it was open until 2am, we arrived at 10:30 to a rather unfriendly reception due to their closing in half an hour. There were still several tables enjoying their meals so we stayed. The waiter gave us a menu but was quite impatient and insisted upon the faster-to-cook options. The food was good but, having... An original restaurant and interesting located at -1 floor. The style is like in a Moldavian village. The food is very tasty. The placinte, plates with meat and fish are delicious. Also the wine here its good. The only thing that left an unpleasant feeling was the fact that from my pocket fall down 500 lei, about 25 euros and... More

The place to go to enjoy traditional Moldavian food in a rustic but nice setting. Great music with traditional instruments. Great atmosphere!

I would start by saying that it was packed with tourist groups. The attention for us was very poor. We ordered two soups which were edible, but the meat was tough as rock. The main course was average with a decent meat but the fact that we had to pay extra for side dish made me angry. We must not... More

La Taifas means Moldovan traditional experience.

Moldovan rustic food, traditional design and good quality service are our greatest prize for you. Grandmother's cheese pie is the dish you will want to eat here along with local meat dishes or vegetarian fresh salads.

If it's summer try out our local fruits drink.
If it's winter you will want to have our hot wine or balm tea to warm you up.

Enjoy your meal!
