Really dont know whats all that fuss about Karijola - pizza is at best average with a bit higher prices than other places in Zagreb which arent justified with quality. I`ve eaten here once & I won`t do that mistake again.

Really special pizza but the prices are too expensive. I would give a 5 because pizza is really good and not ordinary. It is 4 only because high prices.

The pizza was awesome. The waiter not so awesome. Looked Like working was the last thing he wanted that day. Also forgot our olives, but tried to bill us for Them. Got a grumpy answer when telling him we refused to pay for it. Still worth it for the pizza.

As a Canadian who has travelled the world, there is good pizza ( i.e. the ones that are original from southern quaint places in Italy - where ingredients are fresh and flavourful ) and those that are terrible pizza ( boxed, thick crusted, no balance of flavours ). This place definitely serves GREAT gourmet pizza with fresh ingredients that the... More

Zagreb's food is not very similar to Italian typical food. However, this is the real Italian pizza and the closest you will get to original Italian pizza in Zagreb. Might be little pricy for Croatian conditions (10 euros for a pizza), but usual for big Italian cities.

We get here as it was known as famous pizzeria in this part of Zagreb, but in my opinion it is not worth of that glory. Interior and exterior are average and overcrowded. The most important, the food (pizza) are big in size, but with dry dough and with blank dull taste. We ordered three different pizzas and their taste... More

In 2012 I have rated this place as excellent choice for pizza. Recently I've visited the place again, after a long long time, because I have already found my favorite pizza place (Duksa!). I'm sorry that Kariola went down stream towards average commercialized business. Pizza became just average, waiters are slow and not interested at all. My last visit. Sorry... More

Pizza was good but not as expected, simply it didn't meet our expectations since we heard that this is one of the best pizza places in the city. Atmosphere and staff were very nice and friendly. Not a typical pizza place so it's worth a visit.
