Very good meal & nice ambiance

Had a wonderful meal in this restaurants. i had a set meal which includes fried fish and potatoes which was delicious. There was also salad and tomato soup. Dessert was tiramisu cake. My wife had very good mutton steak with potatoes. The ambiance of the place is also good. Good place for your meal in Zagreb.

Great job people!

We had baptism lunch for 20 attendees. The owners took care of lunch planning, decoration, relaxing music. Soparnik and boar gulasch were absolute stars of the menu, while other food was equaly great! The staff was extremly helpful and kind. All of our gests praised the food, staff and the ambient - a peaceful oasis in the busy city center.

good food but negative surprises on the bill

the quality of the food was good and the service paid attention to our table. However, i was not happy with some negative suprises on the bill. 1. while still pondering over the menu, some hors d'oeuvres (soparnik) were offered without we had asked for it. Usually, this means it is offered by the venue for free. However, in the end, it showed up on the bill. 2. while I had explicitly asked for 2 glasses of wine, the whole bottle was left on the table, and the waiter kept on pouring when he passed. As the company was formal, it was not done to reprimand the waiter over this, in the presence of a business relationship. In the end, the whole bottle was charged as well. It felt as if the restaurant had taken advantage and made me pay more than i intended to. I won't come back because of this objectionable behaviour

The service was fair. The food was fair. We don’t smoke, but they resented us eating inside. My question was never answered as to when to return for Wienerschnitzel! Our favorite server was not available until evening meal.☹️

Big thanks from the very bottom of our hearts to Muzej team, which did our wedding party unforgtable experience. Food, ambient, service, professional leaders with a lot of good advices and extraordinary waiters are the winning combination for every event. The ambient by night is so lovely that you have a feeling you are on some five star hotel rooftop. The transformation restaurant staff do to transform regular restoran terrace to the roof top makes it suitable for any occasion - from the family lunch to super romantic wedding party. Thanks to Tomo, Jadranko, all the waiters and cooks for everything. Keep up good work and #samoljubav

Special venue for special occasion

Me and my family attended wedding party here and were blown away by it. Starting with reserved parking places at such an address, extremely friendly and helpful staff, food to die for both in variety and taste, and the venue itself .... picture perfect. You just can not go wrong with taking photos here. Just beautiful! Did I mention the food? I know I did, but it’s worth mentioning twice.;)

Group Tour - tucked in a corner

We read the reviews of this restaurant and was surprised that they cover our dinner with a Group Tour. We were told they serve a delicious Croatian-cooked Duck dish and is a popular local delight. When arrived, the place was impressive, being in the basement of a nice museum, with a outdoor alfresco dining, and it looked like a fine dining restaurant. However, because we came as a group of 28 of us, we were ushered to a corner small room next to the kitchen. There is no windows nor any air conditioning. And the seating was very cramped for the 28 of us and we were partitioned from the rest of the diners. For other paying diners, they get white table cloths and nice napkins. For the 28 of us, we get paper napkins, and no table cloths. For others, they get to enjoy wine glasses, but for our group tour, we get just a glass of water. Perhaps its the budget! I then wonder why they are tucking us in a small corner and out of sight of other patrons? I believe this restaurant wants to do more business with tour agencies but yet embarrassed to be serving a group tour from Asia. And that is the only explanation I can find to explain why we were tucked away in a corner. Now, don’t get me wrong. The staff here is really nice and professional. Service is also good, and no fault of theirs. It is just that our tour agency is ripping us off and putting us forward as second class patrons in this restaurant. Lastly, my advice to the restaurant of this stature is not to go along with these tour agency’s non-sensical budget, and serving double standard meals to patrons.

Fantastic!

Marko Persen, our wonderful server, made our lunch delicious and so special! Located just inside the Arts and Crafts Museum, right side, downstairs, it is easy to miss; but make sure you eat here before or after this terrific museum! We had tasty, fresh fish and desserts to die for; but the regulars were ordering the The Wienerschnitzel! If you only get one meal in Zagreb, make your reservation here!!!

Needs Help

Friend research restaurant, which had good reviews. Restaurant needs major help. As an excuse, they say they are revising their menu. Service was lame at best. Food was pretty bad. Wine selection was poor. The restaurant was so bad that we did not even look at the desert menu. Maybe I should change my rating to 1!

Saturday's lunch

The restaurant is nicely decorated and very spacious. The food was excellent and the service was even better considering it was a busy Saturday afternoon. The waiters were very helpful with many of our questions.

Not that impressed

After reading so many great reviews, we had dinner here, and frankly, we were not impressed. I started with the meat soup with noodles, which basically is beef broth with angel hair pasta, and it was fairly good. My wife had the tomato soup, and it was on the salty side. For the main, we took the waiter's recommendation and tried the the tuna steak and the veal. Both dishes weren't terrible, but nothing impressive either. And both were on the salty side. The service wasn't that great nor attentive, so that didn't help their evaluation. (Read one past review where the person said they went EVERY day for a week. Now we're assuming this person works there. We won't recommend this restaurant. (Go to Gallo's which is about 3 blocks away....you'll thank me!)

Came here everyday for a week

This is a wonderful restaurant tucked under the museum of arts and crafts. The staff are wonderful and will give you great recommendations should you need them. The whole team at this restaurant is great and I highly recommend this place to anyone in Zagreb!
