We had a cevapi and a chili burger, 42 kuna each which is great value for money. Meat was grilled on live flame giving good charred flavour to meat. Good central location for some sightseeing afterwards. No draught beer though!

The food was extremely tasty and fresh and lots of it. We could barely finish our dishes. The quality of the meat was the thing that made the dishes special. Very relaxed atmosphere, good food at reasonable prices. A must try

Hidden gem in center of Zagreb. The place is great for lunch or dinner and they serve traditional food. Cevapi is a great choice and they also serve various side dishes and sauces. You won´t regret it.

I would definetly NOT recommend this local to you! I ordered Cevapcici u Lepinji. 1. They deserved me cevapcici without Ajvar?! WTF! In Croatia Ajvar is always(!) included. It‘s like you order a Steak in a restaurant and you have to pay extra that they put salt and Pepper on it! BUT if so: Guys put the price for Cevapcici from 40 kn to 45 or 50 kn that Ajvar is included. Everything else sucks!!! 2. the cevapcici don‘t Taste good!!! They were bland, unseasoned and tasteless. 3. you will get better food for a cheaper price.

Our tour guide recommended Plac as a local and affordable venue. We loved our meal. I ordered a small serving of cevapi, grilled mince meat served with bread and kajmak (creamy cheese). It was delicious. My husband ordered a dry aged burger and fries. He chose a local lager and I a local cola. Service 10/10 Highly recommend.

This place had nice food, and Iiked its ćevapčići. The mustard is very good in particular and very hot. It is not a massive menu but there are good things on it. There was plenty of seating. However, the service did not feel all that good, and there were very loud tourists in large groups. Worthwhile but the noisy folk are quite annoying.

This was an outstanding meal. The food was woderful, great flavors, every mouthful was an experience to remember. The Pljeskavica was wonderful along with the sauses, cheese and pepper. Get the roasted paprika as a side. The experiece is outstanding at a great price. Cannot say enough good things about the restaurant.

Nice restaurant offering outside dining. It's a sidewalk cafe. Reasonably priced burgers and other offerings such as flatbread items. Drinks are reasonably priced, too. The burger was so big, my husband and I split it. We had a Plac burger on black bread (8.50 Euros). It had special sauce, cabbage, cheese, fennel, and chicory seeds. You don't get sides unless you order them separately. This enough food for both of us. Friendly staff, very welcoming.

The meats are very well marinated and taste really good. I go for the spicy options. Was recommended to go for the Pleskavica and we ordered 3 choices for 4 pax. Excellent choice. Wedges was so good and the dip very well done. The bread is soft on the inside but toasted at the outside. Portions generous. I highly recommend.

Delicious local fare: The (5) piece ćevapi was plentiful and delicious. It was as tasty as the ćevapi I ate just last week in BiH. Yum yum. And Martin was a great entertains and attentive server. We enjoyed talking with him before, during and after dinner. Highly recommend this quaint local spot.

I had the spicy ground beef sausages - a version of the Turkish kofta, legacy of the 400 years of Ottoman rule in the Balkans…it is a dish you will see in other countries in this part of the world, each with its own twist. Here the twist was in the dressing, I took the kaimak and it comes with chopped onion. Meat was spiced and sausages on skewers - different from what I experienced, and very tasty. Sausages are placed in kind of a pita bread pocket and that bread was very good as well. Kaimak made a difference in the taste but it is a lot of food…enjoyed the experience and recommend! Oh, and I was pleased to see locals eating there as well, means for me that it is appreciated locally. Very good and efficient service.

The location is really good and the service great. I ordered the chicken burger, which wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. The bun was not very fresh and it reminded me more of a kebab then a chicken burger. However, my friend had cevapi and she was very pleased by it.

We chose Plac on a whim, and we were pleasantly surprised at how tasty the food was. I am not a ćevapi expert, but Plac served the best ćevapi I had during our 2 weeks in Croatia. The dining space was open and airy, away from the crowds but still close to the action. The prices were quite reasonable considering the location. The service was friendly and relatively prompt. The burgers were good, but the massive buns dwarfed the meat and toppings. Every side dish we tried was excellent. Recommended.

OMG! We queued up to wait for a table along with locals and tourists alike. The Proprietor was quite efficient in seating people and serving, and stopping line jumpers 😄. The wait wasn’t too long and well worth the time. My husband and I ordered the small portion of cevapi and were not disappointed. So delicious, so authentic, brought back memories for me from my childhood. We wanted to return one more time but were unable to fit in, so next time we are in Zagreb, this will be our first stop. Stop by and enjoy.

I believe is a good place to taste the bosnian sausage called Cevapci. Food is tasty and price is reasonably cheap. Staff is kind and helpful. I recommend not to order a lot of dishes as portions are reasonably big.
