Attentive, kind and good service offered in a nice and well kept restaurant; the pictures of the history of the restaurant added to its feel and culture. The food was really tasty, really well presented and in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. I’d definitely recommend!

Wonderful experience at this restaurant

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food was extremely fresh, well, seasoned, absolutely delicious. My husband had a Meet dish and I had a grilled calamari which was perfectly cooked. In addition, I ordered grilled vegetables and gnocchi as a side dish and it was so much food. The prices were very reasonable. Two main courses, side dishes And a glass of wine for me and a dessert was less than we thought it would be. The whole meal was much less than we thought it would be oh, and I left out the wait staff. The gentleman who took care of us was so polite and interested And gave us real recommendations. Definitely a five out of five if we were giving stores out. We are going to be coming back through Zagreb in about two weeks on the back end of this trip and we very well may come back here again. I don’t usually go back to a restaurant twice but this one would be an exception. There’s an outdoor patio area and lots of local people were sitting outside, which was very nice too. I can’t think of anything to say in a negative manner about this place. Enjoy! Happy travels.

We are here now. The restaurant is very nice. The food, fish or beff, is very good and here you can find some tipical Zagreb food. The restaurant is near center Town. Very good team and chef. Well done!

I decided to order food from Kvatrić restaurant for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. Unfortunately, this will also be the last time. When placing the order, the lady who handles takeout orders mentioned that the wait time would be one hour. Although I considered canceling because I had a meeting in 1.5 hours, I decided to take the risk, thinking I would still have enough time to eat even with a slight delay. However, after 1 hour and 20 minutes, the delivery had still not arrived. I called the restaurant to check on the status of my order, and the lady, without any apology, told me it would arrive in a few minutes. The food finally arrived after 1 hour and 35 minutes. Since I already had to leave for my meeting, I took the food with me. On the way, I opened the order to check if it was warm, but unfortunately, the vegetables and potatoes were cold, and the skewers were lukewarm. When I arrived at the meeting, I asked my colleagues to wait so I could eat. I first tried the cheese and cream - "sir i vrhnje", but they were rancid and sour. I can understand that the food might be lukewarm or cold due to the delay, but serving spoiled cheese and cream is unacceptable. The overall impression was very bad—not just because of the quality of the food, but also because of the unprofessional attitude towards customers. I am sorry to leave such a review because I see that most other reviews are positive. If they had shown even a bit of courtesy and apologized for the delay, I might have given them another chance. As it is, I will never order from this restaurant again, nor will I visit it.

I ordered the slow roasted beef ribs with mashed potatoes. Meat was so tender and smothered in a delicious brown gravy. Hubby ordered the duck breast which came with a wonderful wine sauce. Both excellent! Will eat here again next time we are in town.

Went here for lunch with my best friend after we visited Zagreb Zoo and Maksimir Park. I had the Pasticada which is tender beef on a bed of fresh made gnocchi in a rich sauce. It was absolutely excellent. The service was really friendly and we sat out in the small courtyard so my friend could have a smoke. The staff are fabulous and the food really well priced. Would definitely recommend, especially to English speaking tourists as they're very welcoming and explain each dish in a bit more detail.

When in Zagreb we always go at restaurant Kvatric - it is also very close to our Zagreb home! As always we were very satisfied. The baked veal, excellent salad of rukola and radichio and their special mushroom cream soup served in the plate of bread ( bread shaped like plate ). And linen napkin which is rear nowdays! Anyway, we will he back.

ONE OF THE BEST RESTAURANTS IN ZAGREB - SCORES ON ATMOSPHERE, SERVICE, FOOD AND PRICE.

We went to this place for dinner on three successive nights and that just about says it all. The first night we stayed in the back terrace and the other two occasions we opted for an inside table. The ambience is old style but very nice. The service was excellent on all three nights we were there and food was served pretty quickly, without unnecessary delays. All the different waiters were very smartly dressed in their black uniforms, courteous and attentive to detail. In a word proper waiters. The food was excellent throughout and the portions abundant. We tried varies soups but the cream of prawn was our absolute favourite. The cream of mushroom and the pumpkin soup were also very tasty. As mains we tried the grilled calamari and the various forms of veal, such as the Zagreb style veal steak and all were wonderfully prepared and full of flavour. We tried a bottle of the local wine - Kutjevo Maximo Oro - which was wonderful and also the local Karlovacko beer which was nice. Considering the great fare served, the super service and the nice atmosphere the price is reasonable and I would definitely recommend a visit to this Zagreb restaurant.
