Above city center and without rush hour we came to Tac restaurant. Space is filled with tasty details and rewards and crew was very professional, educated and friendly. We tasted different variety of unique tastes of brandies. Soup was very good as well, but, I...must emphasize baby goat that we ordered for the main dish. Presentation was great, meat was phenomenal and the texture melted in the mouth. Top recommendation!More

We go to Tac whenever we want to treat our friends for a nice dinner , and Vesna and her crew never disappoints. We like her tasty soups, squash, or Jerusalem artichokes, we love her sarma- stuffed cabbage, we love her meat, most wonderful Black...Slavonic pork, or Istrian beef...pastas are great and her fritule receipe is a dream, I intend to copy this Xmas. Thumbs up!More

This restaurant is perfect example for short menu but everything on it is top of the quality! They have their own gardens and menu according to the season. I went there a few times and every time was absolutely amazed by their food. I have...to specialy praise their staff that is very professional and experienced and their desserts! Try it, I think you won't be dissapointed!More

Ordered a fish...did that few days in advance. Owner said ...of course...no problem. When we arrived they didn t have ordered fish. Instead they offered something else...some other kind od fish Those came on the table halfly done...raw. the eyes were still glassy and I...had the feeling that the fish is still alive on the plate. Flesh was not cooked properly and had that smelly sea odour like a raw fish. Just in case you think we never before had fish for a meal in our life...not...not at all....we eat fish a lot...in restaurants or prepared at home. So...this was just badly prepared. As the restaurant was empty when we arrived (just imagine..saturday evening and an empty restaurant) maybe that is the reason the fish was so badly prepared. The price was so high that we could eat almost anywhere in zagreb for that kind of money. Total dissapointment. That was once a respected restaurant. Not a shadow of that now. Don t go. Go somewhere you will be respected and at least get some food for your money. Never again. What a rip off pit.More

Maybe famous for excellent vine selection but small and squeezed space with very problematic moving around the restaurant (like going to toilet..) Owners are in direct touch with customers but as I saw, many of them are their friends and they communicate only with them....Rest of us wait for food ten times longer. Prepare for that.. Food; not quite as rumor has it.. worst weal and total disaster of croatian local dish "mlinci". Absloutely ruined food. Duck was OK but for that price You would wish something more than just simple OK. And for end; salad bowl priced as 3 soups!!! Yeap, that's right. It is apparently some special kind if green salad and cherry tomatoes for that price.... Before we even saw bill, we decided not to have desserts. Smart decision. Otherwise we could have spent one more hour waiting and bill would probably be double. I won't return and my honest suggestion is to come and see for yourself if You can afford to pay and Your quriosity is stronger than Your manner when You go through all experience and get bill.More

In Croatian language the English word "touch" is written as Tač, but pronounced exactly the same. Hence, the title! And the meaning! My wife and myself had an outstanding, extraordinary lunch. But it was Sunday. Do not attempt to have a business lunch on a...working day. That would deprive you of pleasure and sensational experience of having a Luculus quality meal. Dinners will definitely be a better time. The owner will help you out with selecting the best Croatian wines (getting better every day) to match your dishes, while the charming owner's wife will seduce you with freshly baked deserts. When have you last eaten the roasted goatling dish? Sure you don't remember! We were lucky today, and we wish you the same luck! Uber up the hill. Only the native Zagreb citizens would know the route.More

This is not place you will find any tourists, people who come here are people with one intention which is to have a excellent meal. Service on good level, very rustic but feels like home interior and amazing food, dont miss cold tomato soup if...visiting during hot weather, Istarski žgvacet is amazing tender chicken dish, amazing deserts. Prices are not cheap but they’re not crazy expensive Beefsteak will cost you 150 kunas but most of the dishes will go from 80-120 kunas . You won’t regret coming here.More

I’ve been there several times but last time I was with friends of mine and most probably owner of restaurant (lady) promised to have small lamb from pag which finally they didn’t have (this was main reason why we decided to visit tač) Instead, waiter...offered us seventh rib of beef so called “tomahawk”. One for two person. We got it, it looked impressive but taste was so so, kind of tough rib eye, nothing more. Finally when we got bill we recognize that it costs 1560 kn, almost 400 kn for rib eye only, almost double than expected price. What (all of us) hated most was lack of transparency and missing of menu, as we wolud never order it if we knew how expensive is it. We were filling as waiter was cheeting us. Finally all of us were very very dissapoointed. Unfortunatelly.More
