We are a #fastcasual plant-based restaurant in which you can enjoy a daily home-made cooked meal that is nutritionally balanced & tastes amazing. We also offer healthy and made-from-scratch fast food like burgers, wraps, woks and desserts. Situated in the heart of Zagreb, right next to the main square, our Joyful Kitchen welcomes everybody who wants to try something different, include more plants in their diet and who cares about giving back to the planet. Our packaging is biodegradable, our food is the fuel for inspiration and our hearts are filled with the desire to be a little bit better every day.

I was recommended this place, and found it out today. Had an excellent daily soup, filling and tasteful with two slices of equally tasty bread. The price was great! The interior extremely cosy, with lots of plants. They have a daily menu, which looked awesome and could satisfy anybody with great hunger.

OAZA joyful kitchen offers a great variety of healthy & organic vegan food that is to die for. So colourful & tasty ;) The atmosphere at the restaurant is very relaxing with lovely music so you can really enjoy your food while you’re there. The staff is really friendly and helpful:)
PS: The desserts are SO SO amazing 🥰

well-crafted menu and really excellent vegan burgers. These burgers are not “meat-like” in the way Impossible burgers are, and I like that. They are filling, flavorful, and appropriately priced. The burger bun was SO. GOOD! The fries were great too! My one burger and fries made two meals, so definitely priced well. I wish they had more outdoor seating, but nothing bad to say about my experience here!

We ordered the “menus” (which is a mix of dishes in a plate) and two smoothies. My boyfriend got the big menu and I got the small one, and it only had a very small insignificant difference between the two, which doesn’t reflect the price difference. The food was just okay. The salad was too hard, almost impossible to chew through. The smoothies were good but a bit overpriced. The service was again, just okay. The lady did her bare minimum but she wasn’t rude or anything. The prices are really affordable so, i guess you get what you pay for.

Hi dear Mia! So sorry to hear your experience was worth only 2/5. We hope we can improve it if you give us another chance. <3 Yes, the difference between the big and small menu is only in size - but if the difference was small, our staff probably gave a little bigger portion for the small menu. They are trained to give exact quantities for big menus. :) Hope this was a positive.
Sorry for the salad, and thank you for the feedback about the smoothies. They are usually not items on which we have a big return on investment, the price reflects the ingredients as we use pricier items like avocados, spirulina, maca powder, pea protein, cashews, etc. - depending on the smoothie. We price them around 4 eur, which is the industry standard.
We certainly don't aspire for "bare minimum" so we want to apologize for that. We are working on training our staff more and more, and we hope to provide a much better experience for all of you. Have a beautiful day, and sorry for a late response!

I've been there twice. It looks nice and it's on a great location. Menu sounds good too. Unfortunately, food is not good. First time it was mediocre and second time was extremely greasy and not tasty. First time I had to throw away the food in years. There are better options in Zagreb in the same price range.

The staff is very friendly, I have to admit that. Unfortunately, the menu offered is without allergens and very soy-focused. As someone who is allergic to soy, I did not have a lot of options, but the salad with falafel was very tasty, although spicy. The drinks were great. I hope that you will add allergen information and more dishes with pea protein."

Discovered it accidentally during sudden rain storms in Zagreb. It’s entirely vegan & also sustainable and has great options. The falafel wrap & the sweet potato fries were outstanding ! Highly recommend this especially for those looking for vegetarians & vegan options in the city

Delicious vegan food, friendly staff. I highly recommend it. I went here with my boyfriend for a casual night out and we weren't disappointed. He's not vegetarian or vegan but he enjoyed the veggie kebab, and I really loved the Joyful Energy wrap.

Friends and I wanted to try something new, and this was recommended to us. I found this place really chill to eat at, and the meal of the day was good and rather filling, although my friends and I had to wait a bit for our orders to be prepared (we arrived as it opened). They didn't enjoy it as much as I did. The people working here were patient and very friendly. I will eat there again when I get the opportunity to be come back to Zagreb.

Good and healthy food of high quality. Falafel are just fantastic! I think the best falafel I have ever had in my life... Spicy, crunchy but light. Wraps are also good and apple chutney is spectacular... Prices are good and waitress is super nice. Thank you very much for everything (the Italian girl who enjoyed a lot your hot chutney =))

I went here 3 times during my trip. First, it was late so I got theHealthy Spelty sandwich to go. I found it quite yummy. I was amazed that they have vegan mango lassi, so I ordered that as well, but it was only so-so.
Second time, I ordered one of the burgers and the falafel wrap to go. I didn’t like the taste of either.
Third time, it was ahead of a long bus journey, and I ordered two of the Healthy Spelty sándwiches to go, which again, I found yummy.
The service is just so so. The decoration is nice and modern, and the location is great, very close to the main square.

A hidden gem. This place is just 100 yards from the main square. It was very quiet so I got served quickly. Had a kebab with up to 10 fillings. A huge portion. The bread was delicious. Followed by a scrumptious squishy cherry pudding. So filling.

Excellent vegetarian food, full of flavour, freshly cooked. You don't miss the meat. I had the tofish burger and my wife had the Royal falafel wrap. Both were ample and flavoursome. Great staff, impeccable cleanliness, I thoroughly recommend this place.

Amazing veggie/vegan food choices, all cooked from scratch. My burger was a meal in itself and a work of art. Staff were super friendly. I can’t believe that anyone has given less than 5 stars. Great for lunch but we are here on an evening as a casual and cheaper (but good quality) meal.
