Our family of 5 visited Didov San in July 2016. We were really pleased with the offerings, prices and service. My husband had assorted meat on a skewer while my children and I had the chicken/potato/veggies in a clay pot and the kids' turkey meal. The turkey dinner was just okay but everything else was fantastic.

Traditional Croatian cuisine and they were big portions. Very good taste. Great location in the old part of Zagreb. Cosy environment & cute furniture. You really need to make a reservation or be there before 6 o'clock. The staff were rude & very bad which makes me give a 3point to this place.

We chose this place for dinner on our first day in Croatia. The restaurant is very cozy and nicely decorated, felt like home. The first food was hearty and delicious, the service friendly and quick. We tried some local specialties and they were excellent!

We made a reservation. The table was ready (we came 20 minutes earlier). We took punjena vjesalica and pasticada. Everything was really tasty, the portion was big enough for two of us. Service was also good. Price was acceptable. Good choice for someone who wants to try croatian food.

We were there 2 times, 2 days in row and was just amazing and excellent. Otherwise; everything was more than amazing: food, taste, smell, waiters, location, service. If you are in Zagreb, just go there. ;)

Preordered the meat dish Jagnetina + Telecina (?) ispod peke (some traditional meat dish grilled under a bell shape lid) and it very much lived up to expectations. Beats the sach from Zavicaj Belgrade as well as a similar plate from Dubrovnik which were my basis for comparison. Finished with a Tufahija (poached apple and walnut desert) which was also... More

We had the "abuela pan" and the special schnitzel. Abuela pan was with pre cut potates, onion and a little chicken and was not worth the money. The schnitzel was marketed as 'their own' but it was obvious that is was 100% premade (like something you buy in a cheap supermarket) including cheese, something that would resemble bacon and some... Good value for money, friendly staff, great place to discover local food! We had snails, frogs, steaks, and amazing feta appetizers. 100% will recommend to friends.

I had a business partner in Zagreb so we took them to Gornji grad for site seeing and dinner as hosts. Didov San has good location and is usually quite enough for business diner and some talk. I have eaten there before and the food was the reason to come back, service is same as ever and it is mainly... More
