Our tour guide recommended this restaurant. Wife and I stopped there in the late afternoon after touring the city and walking down from the old town to the modern market square. We weren't that hungry but wanted to try the struckli, a cheese filled pasta dish. It was great. Service was very good. Definitely recommended for traditional Croat food.

Was there in October with my family. Had stumbled upon this place three years earlier with my husband and could not wait to try it again, now also with my children. Excellent service, great atmosphere, wine and food of best quality.

My friend and I visited during the restaurant week and felt cheated cuz food was average and portions extra small. But look nice from the outside.

The best restaurant we have been to in Zagreb. Great ambience, staff and very tasty and different food. The prices are very reasonable for what is offered. We recommend this restaurant very highly.

Top restaurant in Zagreb. Fantastic food, great choice of Croatian vine. Fantastic staff. If you don't know what to order just ask the waiter. We were never disapointed.

Centrally located, upstairs with a nice overview on the street. Veey friendly and expert staff. Limited menu with high quality food without surprises: very classical combinations. Nice wine menu with local pearls

The food and service is always great! Be sure to try the duck and the staff can always offer some great local Croatian wines. Having a reservation would be advised as they get pretty busy sometimes. It may not be the best in the offseason for people with a tough time walking up stairs. Summer time has outdoor tables on... More

Maybe me being picky, but getting my starter 1 minute after my Apero, just too fast for me. In all, it took 33 minutes to finish my starter AND main course. And my Apero :-) Overall : the food is good , service too, but ask immediately for slowwwwwwwwww

While in Zagreb, we had dinner Saturday evening at Agava Restaurant. It was great. The food and wine were very good and the price reasonable. The service was good as was the ambiance. This restaurant is more upscale then some of the other on the street and has seating available on the street level as well as a terrace and... More

We came upon this place accidentally. It looked interesting perched up high at the top of the stairs so we gave it a try without even looking it up online. We are so glad we did! The service and food were excellent. So good, that we came back a second time and didn't bother trying to find another place to... More

"Restaurant AGAVA" - a place where fine dining truly meets a casual atmosfere.

This is very special place, a bit hidden, a bit shy...A classic Italian restaurant filled with subtle dark colours and distinctive lightning. Wide windows provide an unique view, and in spring and summer the green terrace will attract you immediately. The restaurant was opened in 2005. It is runned by Belizar Milos (owner/partner) who is also the main chef, responsible for many mediterranean delices and beyond.

So, come to the number 39 of Tklaciceva street... It'll take you 39 staircases to come to your little hiding place.
