The setting of this restaurant (on pedestrian-busy Tkalchiceva Ulica) is great- it's quieter than most other options, and beautifully appointed (with inside and out). The food was quite good, but not great, and a bit pricey.

We had a lovely dinner here on our first night in Zagreb. Great location, we could watch musicians play and people walk by as we had our dinner. Lovely risotto.

Location is very central: in the main pedestrian street downtown, which also makes it a bit busy and obviously touristic. Had dinner outside, on the terrace. First had nicely done scallops, followed by the biologically raised duck (pink as it should be), which came in...More

We ordered a steak, Caesar salada and two glasses of wine. Food was good but pricey. There’s probably better nearby.

The service was unbelievably slow. Waiters didn’t seem to care about us and more about the table in front of us. Food was ok but totally not worth the hype. Best part was the starter we got.

Food was excellent. I had a tuna steak cooked perfectly and my partner had Salim also very well cooked. The restaurant is very nice and the vibe is great. The only complaint we have is about the waiting time. Waited too long for a couple...More

Good restaurant, somewhat higger class, and therefore somewhat more expensive than other restaurants in the street. Therefore: fair price. Good and fine food. Recomended.

The food was incredible and our waiter offered wonderful suggestions. The wine was amazing. We sat at our own table on a small patio which was great.

We did not need a reservation, we ate early. You may need one if you eat later, say after 7:00 pm.

Description
"Restaurant AGAVA" - a place where fine dining truly meets a casual atmosfere. This is very special place, a bit hidden, a bit shy...A classic Italian restaurant filled with subtle dark colours and distinctive lightning. Wide windows provide an unique view, and in spring and summer the green terrace will attract you immediately. The restaurant was opened in 2005. It is runned by Belizar Milos (owner/partner) who is also the main chef, responsible for many mediterranean delices and beyond. So, come to the number 39 of Tklaciceva street... It'll take you 39 staircases to come to your little hiding place.
