Really excellent place with superb service and contemporary created meals. An interesting twist between modern and traditional. Delicious and super creative. One of a kind.

We had a really nice time there. The waiter was kind and helpful. I've eaten the " fois gras de canard" which was the best I never tried. Just take it ! Unfortunately my raviolis were a bit cold , it's the only bad point that I can related.

This restaurant serves typical Croatian food but they strive to put their own innovative twists on the dishes, instead of simply offering the identical 'traditional' menu that is commonly found in many other restaurants. We were seated on the patio a couple storeys above the street, which is in a pedestrian-only area full of lively bars, restaurants, and cafes which... More

With my family we enjoyed this restaurant. The "plus": the location, specially if you're seated outside, the service is really good and the food . The food, in particular the starters were very tasty. "To be improved": the main dishes have room for improvement. It was not as amazing as in some other restaurants I tried in Croatia.

The restaurant is in a very active street however you dont have that feeling of beeing in a crowded place at all. The meal was very nice. We ordered steak (grilled) and pasta with truffles. Pirce was ok.. meat is not that cheep in croacia in some places it was up to 110 euro the Kg, here it was cheaper.... More

We were looking for a place to watch the Euro Cup and eat that the same time...You'll be surprised at how many places in Zagreb look so inviting, but don't serve food - only alcohol or coffee... We had read about Agava, and walked past at about 9:30pm...they had the game projected on a wall outside - in perfect view... More

Great meal. Server was friendly and funny. Terrace is very nice - good way to rise above the buzz of the strip below. Would definitely return.

Description
"Restaurant AGAVA" - a place where fine dining truly meets a casual atmosfere.

This is very special place, a bit hidden, a bit shy...A classic Italian restaurant filled with subtle dark colours and distinctive lightning. Wide windows provide an unique view, and in spring and summer the green terrace will attract you immediately. The restaurant was opened in 2005. It is runned by Belizar Milos (owner/partner) who is also the main chef, responsible for many mediterranean delices and beyond.

So, come to the number 39 of Tklaciceva street... It'll take you 39 staircases to come to your little hiding place.
