Restaurant is located near the city center. Nice service, very good tasting and looking food and really good choices of wines. Great for dinner.

We ate at Agava for lunch and absolutely loved our food. We didn't need a reservation because the restaurant didn't seem too busy for lunchtime. The server was very friendly and recommended some delicious Croatian wines. We started off with the oxtail soup and pumpkin soup. For the main courses, we had the dry aged ribeye and a fish dish... Very professional and attentive service. We had four delicious courses recommended by Chef himself. Great wine pairings, thanks to our waiter. Kudos to Agava

A fine-dining restaurant located in the upper town of Zagreb, the terrace looks very nice, but it was unfortunately too cold to sit out when we were there. I had the mushroom soup with truffles and squid in tomato sauce. The service was very professional, the food was good and the wine recommended was excellent. I would recommend this place.

We were looking for somewhere for dinner that was out of the cold and fortunately stumbled upon Agava. The wait staff were friendly and helpful, the menu was filled with delicious options (hard to choose!), and my boyfriend and I both loved the dishes we ended up with. Will definitely be back next time we're in Zagreb.

We went to Agava for a romantic dinner for two. It was a warm summer evening and we were given a table on a small, secluded terrace which still afforded us a view of the street and people below, and it was surrounded by greenery so the location was very nice. I thought the menu didn't have many things to... More

Agava Restaurant Zagreb The restaurant is located in Old Town on Tkalciceva Street where there are many restaurants to choose from. Agava is located in a building, which looks like a large house, with terraces climbing up to the dining room. You can choose to eat inside or outside and in either case you will not be disappointed. There were... More

Nice ambiance, it was not very busy though. The waiter was very professional & knows the menu well and also recommended wines. The food was good, sirloin a bit fatty (usually the fat should cook off more leaving the meat juicy) and my wild salmon was over cooked and a bit dry but overall delicious and interesting menu. We probably... More

Our tour guide recommended this restaurant. Wife and I stopped there in the late afternoon after touring the city and walking down from the old town to the modern market square. We weren't that hungry but wanted to try the struckli, a cheese filled pasta dish. It was great. Service was very good. Definitely recommended for traditional Croat food.

Was there in October with my family. Had stumbled upon this place three years earlier with my husband and could not wait to try it again, now also with my children. Excellent service, great atmosphere, wine and food of best quality.

Description
"Restaurant AGAVA" - a place where fine dining truly meets a casual atmosfere.

This is very special place, a bit hidden, a bit shy...A classic Italian restaurant filled with subtle dark colours and distinctive lightning. Wide windows provide an unique view, and in spring and summer the green terrace will attract you immediately. The restaurant was opened in 2005. It is runned by Belizar Milos (owner/partner) who is also the main chef, responsible for many mediterranean delices and beyond.

So, come to the number 39 of Tklaciceva street... It'll take you 39 staircases to come to your little hiding place.
