We were pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu. To close out our 2 week trip in Croatia for Advent 2019, Capuciner provided us with delicious and hearty meals, offering variety for 3 adults. My husband also enjoyed the large sized beers. Highly recommend. Great location....Relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a filling, hearty meal.More

As we were at Capuciner Grill and steak, and we were delighted by good and service, we have decided to try this one as well- and again it didn't disappoint! We went for pasta dishes and no much to say but GREAT! Once again we...went out with full stomeach and happy facesMore

The restaurant looks very pleasant, and is in a good location opposite the cathedral.Waiting staff were plentiful, but didn’t seem very interested in their work.Food was served very quickly and wasn’t up to much.Pizza was good, but the Pasta was over cooked and bland.Think that they...don’t make too much effort as they are catering to the tourist market who may not return.More

The pizza was standardly good. Ravioli with 4 types of cheese and prosciutto was delicious, although the sauce was too thin so it spoiled the overall impression of the dish. The dessert won us over. Tiramisu was great! I haven't eaten a better one in...a long time! Panna cotta was OK, and the pancakes were great. The waiter was not in the best of moods ... he couldn't wait to for us to leave. The overall experience was therefore just OK. The restaurant was a bit crowded, thus extremely noisy, you will lose your voice trying to talk to those seated at your table.More

During our trip to Zagreb Christmas Market, my girlfriend and I decided to visit for a first time a local restaurant "Capuciner" near our apartment. We waited maybe 5-10 minutes for a table with many people in front of us and behind us, it was...very crowdy...a good sign? Well, we seated and had a warm and friendly welcome with our waiter. We decided to try gnocchi with four type of cheeses, turkey meat with bacon inside and a gnocchi with a salad. Food was very good, but gnocchi not so good... For a drink we had a Franziskaner beer and a mineral water. For a dessert we ordered a pancakes with nutella&wallnut, and they were great! Prices are very, very reasonable and this place is great value for money. Service nice and helpful, nice local ambience, reasonable prices, center of old town, very good food, what can you more want? See you next time!More

Today me and my friends visited Capuciner. We ordered our meals, they came quickly. The size was decent and the meals were tasteful. At the end of our lunch, I went to the toilet and it was disgusting!!! Pee all over (the floor was completely...wet), no toilet paper, no soap... That was worst than any public toilet and it really makes you wonder what is hygiene level of that restaurant and do they take care of the kitchen in the same way. I complained to the waiter and he rudely responded that "people act like cattle and don't clean after themselves". Only respond I would find accetable in this case is an apology and a call to a person in charge of cleaning. During last few years, I was in that restaurant at least 15 times, I was satisfied costumer and I oftenly recommended it to friends, but after this I don't think they will see me soon.More

I would never recommend this place to anyone. Waiters were so unpolite, rude and nervous to us when we entered the restaurant. I was feeling so terrible to be there and couldn't wait to get out of there, so we even didn't take a seat....Worst ever.More

Pizza is one of the best in town in my opinion....prices are fair... service..well...not expecting a lot from the servers in general..it's just that feeling when the middle-aged waiter without a smile and a dead serious look is asking you if your ready to order...if...they add some waitresses with a smile and good vibe I am sure this place would be much more appealing so to speak...More

Yes. They do. We didn't find a restaurant that did not.
