The place is nice, and location is good. However, the service is much more improvable. 16 leva for 2 chicken fillets, 2 sausages and 1 kiufte (small burger). Lyutenutsa was very good. In addition, not possible to pay with card (because of the coronavirus crisis,...as they told us...we wonder why). It is a pity, because it could be a very good restaurant. However, not to come back.More

We made a special effort to get to this restaurant before we flew out of Bulgaria. It's not full of traditional bulgarian decorations like other bulgarian restuarants and we like it's simplicity. The waiter gave great recommendations as to what to eat - and we...all had really fantastic food. The only issue we had (and that's not with the restaurant) is that the restaurant is in a Green Parking Zone. We took a risk and then found out our car had been clamped whilst we had been eating. We were only in there an hour. But 5 mins & 30 Leve later we were on our way to the airport.More

Next to Borisova Gradina. The interior is beautiful-traditionally decorated, the food is great, the menu is organized and "user friendly". The people who work there are kind and very professional. By far the best place to eat. Been there two times, would definitely go again...and again!More

First time visit with business partners from Sofia who know this restaurant from old times, when it was much smaller and apparently better. Food was good, wine was great, atmosphere cosy...but service was terrible. Guy who was serving our table was so rude. No respect...for older gentleman who was ordering and who tried to present us Bulgarian cuisine at its best. Answer to all questions was:"Look in your menu, you have it all there." Not helping with ordering neither with recommending food or wine. Above all, his attitude was unacceptable. If I was alone I would left without eating. It's a pitty that personnel spoiled whole experience, because I liked the food & wine.More

This was a disappointing experience. The waiters were rude and tried to up-sell wine. Food was average and way overpriced, offering very little value for money. There are far better Bulgarian options, you just need to leave downtown.

Everytime we visit SOFIA we dine here. Winter or Summer, lunch or dinner , never been less thn superb. We were told Pod Lipite grow veg, get their pork & beef from eco-friendly producers, lot of in-house production( wine, veg-dips , fresh cheeses), hence we...cherish their efforts, would love to support eco-producers & genuinely lov the food offerings Will not regret it , Go for it !More

I came here 2 years ago and am pleased it has not changed. The food is traditional Bulgarian and the portions are generous. The wine is from their own grapes. The draught beer is fine and the prices a re amazingly good value.

We can t complain about being squeezed into a small room away from main area as we booked late and got last table. Atmosphere in pub was very lively and menu is very traditional. Staff were all run off their feet but our waiter was...also vey friendly. Overall service was painstakingly slow and food arrived luke warm. Despite these shortcomings on a busy night the pluses far out weigh negatives.More
