I love this restaurant, we had tried to find somewhere to eat a late lunch in the glass houses on the main street, but were put off when we saw people smoking in them. We discovered this restaurant next to where a car is sticking out of the shop front, we thought at first it was too posh for us and would be expensive but decided to take a chance. OMG this is how I want my living room to look, the decor is fantastic, the variety of the menu is great. The staff were slightly slow, but it was a great place for a leisurely afternoon meal. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better we went downstairs to use the toilets and were amazed by the downstairs area, the huge tv wall had an enormous log fire playing which looked fantastic, it was just a bit too bright downstairs compared to upstairs. Highly recommend this place.

Dinner supposedly in one the best restaurants

We were seated at the worst table ever, right next to entrance, and each time the main door was opened we could feel the cold air, although plenty of other great tables were free. Waitress served us the beers and no one asked us if we wanted another round although the restaurant was barely full. Half way through the waitress remembered to turn the table lamp on. No synchronization in serving the dishes, i got my burger served after my friend’s lasagna was served. Calamari was so salty. The kitchen is at basement so the waiters have to walk a mile up to serve the food at the ground level, a bit painful but that’ll keep them fit (design flaw). Burger was good and so was the lasagna, but no one bothered to come and ask us if our meals were up to our satisfaction.

Nice atmosphere, menu choices should be improved

I liked really the atmosphere of the restaurant, the furniture and the decoration are very modern and yet comfortable. The staff is also very nice and polite. So far so good. I was really amazed by the menu that totally doesn't correspond to the atmosphere and the music played by the DJ. When you arrive at this restaurant you expect a modern light cuisine, not 90% heavy dishes from pork ears and oriental kebab, or pizza and pasta or burgers... The staff is dressed in strange pinafores like working in a butcher shop. Generally good idea and design, poor performance.

Cold food and rude waiters

Nice interior and idea but the execution is more than delusional. Me and my friends are giving chances to Constantinoff every 3 months per year and every time we go there is problem with something! The service is more than poor, the waiters aren’t very polite. The food is always cold, we are not very pretentious but this case with the cold food is happening every time that we go there. We have ordered wine that we already like to drink but the waiter insisted to give us another wine because she will take bonus for every bottle that she sell of this brand, which is more than unacceptable! Over all the the place is nice the menu looks nice but all the cooks and the waiters should be changed because related to the price that you pay the service is delusional!

To us, the restaurant was a disappointment. We were rushed to the lower floor where it smelled badly from the canalisation. We complained and were then seated upstairs. Service was very slow and forgot things. The bread we ordered took 15minutes extra and arrived after we finished the salad. The main course took (in total) over 80 minutes to deliver (meatballs & burger) and arrived cold. We raised our concerns with the waiter but she either did not understand us or simply did not care. What a pity!

Not worth a visit

Service is not very friendly , we asked for the variety of table wines and she was not able to tell us. The food in general was not that much delicious, the music in the restaurant is very loud , we were seated next to the toilets which smelled not good . The only good thing is the atmosphere inside - a good and trendy

Our greatest nights in Sofia ...

We went about five times in Constantinoff, and each night was better than the one before. The place is very chic and very tastefully decorated and the waiters are welcoming. The coktails are remarkable and especially the Constantinoff Diamond and the Coco Chanel. The food is meticulously prepared by the chefs downstairs and the plates are always elegant, and very tasty. The desserts are the cherry on top, especially the Dark Side of the Moon. It's a great place for a fine experience, in the center of Sofia, and the prices are not so high. One word : groundbreaking ..

A strange mix of restaurant and bar

It was strange experience as the tables were really close to each other and some of them were high bar tables and others were normal restaurant ones. There are some meals that are prepared in front of you and due to the closeness go the tables you could start smelling like smoke because the other table ordered some of those dishes. The music and lights are more like a bar than a restaurant and for big part of the menu it feels like you have to have special education.

The whole place looks super fancy, but also like home, so it definitely has nice and cozy atmosphere. They have a great wine list and the desserts were also cool. The menu was interesting with carefully selected products, but all the food we ordered (7-9 dishes) were a bit tasteless - there weren't enough spices. For the prices they had I expected more. I know that the owners of this restaurant are the same as those of "Shtastliveca" and the second one is better. The staff was also very friendly and made us feel comfortable.

Magnificent atmosphere!

Magnificent atmosphere! Gourmet food. Kind waiters. The place is well worth it. The food is in small quantities, exquisite ... it is supposed that the people at the restaurant want to enjoy socializing, not overeating. My advice is to choose the first floor, because the restaurant (the floors below) is a very noisy evening and you hardly manage to hear from your friends.

Nice atmosphere but poor service

Really nice, trendy atmosphere. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the service. I asked the waiter, what are the wines, that they offered in a glass. She said several names and proposed me “wine degustation” so that I can choose better. I accepted, I tried three different wines and I took one of them. When the bill came, appeared i had to pay the degustation- 2 leva by wine and it was just a sip. In the menu there is no price for “wine degustation” the waiter didn’t say it, as well. When I explained this to the manager, she just said: We are sorry and refuse to took out the wine degustation sum from the bill. In my opinion this was very rude and unprofessional. The food have great aspect but not so great taste. Not value for money at all and be careful with wine degustation!

If you are thinking of going to eat at this restaurant, forget it!

If you sit in this restaurant and are thinking of eating the "turbot fish" that they offer on the menu, forget it, it's money for free. The chef doesn't know how to prepare it and the price of the restaurant is "shameful" for what they offer. The cook doesn't know how to "fillet" the fish and so you get three pieces full of bones with no meat, floured and fried in burnt, stale and smelly oil, which has turned black as coal. In the kitchen they do not respect the frying temperature and therefore the outside is burnt and the inside is not cooked well, but mainly, it has an overall "bitter" flavour, rather than "tasty" and "delicate".

The service is awful! We have been coming for years, spending big money on meals and wine, however tonight they hit the rock bottom. The order was completely late. The initial salads were late maybe 30 mins or more. The salmon I ordered came after my husband ate his stake and everyone else had their main courses. Our waiter was not coming often so we could ask or order additional water. The nighy before we ordered take out from Constantinoff and half of the order we pre-paid did not show..

Tasty food but average service

I visited the restaurant with a French friend because I wanted to bring him at really good place. The place is indeed good, on excellent location and the food is very delicious. But the service was quite disappointing - we needed to wait 10 minutes to receive the menu, after that it took a lot of time to receive the wine. The food was very tasty and with great presentation, but the empty dishes stayed on the table until we left. During the dinner we missed enough attention that is expected at quality place like this.

Absolutely excellent restaurant on Bulevard Vitosha

Perfect food, Great service (waiter was excellent) Had dinner at outside table to avoid smokers. We have been in Sofia for a week and wished we had eaten here first as we would have had all our meals at this restaurant. Has to be best restaurant on Bulevard
