This restaurant has 2 locations and we visited the one at San Stefano Street. The restaurant is located inside the shopping mall and on the second floor.
Overall the restaurant has an extensive menu, something for everyone. Our youngest had Parmesan risotto while our oldest selected a traditional burger with an egg and bacon. A vegan option with puréed carrots and sage was my choice whereas the waitress suggested a popular lamb dish for my husband. We all left fully satisfied and happy with the enjoyable evening.
While it may be a bit pricier than other local restaurants, it certainly was worth the money.

We really enjoyed this place. The appetizers have strong flavours, we savoured 2 with eggplant. The mains are very consistent. Food is mid sized, prices a bi above average. There is potential to have a view and the service is cool.

Amazing dishes,
We were 2 couples and for each one of us every dish was very tasty.
Some days after, I can still remember the incredible taste of every dish.
The staff is so friendly, polite and professional.
ПЛАМЕН (which means flame) - you are the best waiter ever :-)
Decoration very stylish
Pleasant music and great atmosphere
If you are going to be even one day in Sofia, don't miss this restaurant.

Hello, I had a meeting in your restaurant with my guest from Korea. There were things in the restaurant that she was fascinated by, but there were also things that she didn't like, to put it mildly, and I was somewhat ashamed that they happened because of your staff.
The place is great, very cozy and the food is very tasty. The staff also seemed polite and kind at first, BUT:
They hardly wear masks or wear them under their noses, which makes customers feel insecure about their health. Even if employees are vaccinated, they still have to wear their masks properly, because it has been proven that vaccinated people do not get sick, but spread the infection. Whether you serve Bulgarians or foreigners.
There was another problem, which appeared 3 times during our stay in the restaurant. The waiter twice asked us if he could take the salad, which we hadn't milked yet, and the utensils weren't even put on the plate to take away! You can't ask if you can take the food if customers still eat it!
Wait until the customer has eaten all the food or explicitly asked you to take the plate.
If you still want to ask if you can take a plate with food in it, you can only ask if the utensils are placed in the plate as if to take them away! And if you are denied, do not ask a second time!
The third manifestation of this problem occurred when the same waiter asked if he could take the bottle of lemonade, even though there was a whole glass of the drink in it!
If you want to free up space on the table for the next ordered dish, just rearrange the things on the table - spices, plates - rearrange them so that there is room for more things. As a last resort, remove the candle, which is not needed anyway. The restaurant is bright and the candles emit carbon dioxide. That's why many customers avoid candles. It's a good idea to ask in advance if customers want a candle and if you want to light it. But this small problem is too small compared to the others.
Why are you in a hurry to take the food and drinks to your customers before they have milked and finished? It's annoying, it also gives the impression that you want us to leave the restaurant faster.
Most high-end establishments like yours take at least a few hours to hire new staff to explain how to deal with customers. I don't know if you have this practice. If so, then this waiter missed it or forgot it.
Also, I don't know how it is possible in a place where your customers trust and take off their masks, to allow the staff not to wear masks properly!
Everything else was wonderful. Congratulations to the chefs and the interior designer.

The place offers a variety of pretty good meals that are a tad expensive and overpriced. The interior is a bit weird but I do enjoy it, I would have given this place a 5/5 before but unfortunately starting from September the service went downhill. There's this apathy and unpleasantness from the staff even before you enter the restaurant , taking orders and even asking for the check will take a bit longer than you are used to (15 minutes waiting time for me to pay the bill is not ok), the serving time is also very slow and it reflects the taste of the food (Was served cold coffee 2 times ). I would suggest to check it if you have a lot of time to spare, hopefully you might hit a day where the staff have had a proper rest.

On our first night in Sofia we were very disappointed to find that you need reservations to eat almost anywhere on a weekend. This was our fourth attempt at a restaurant. We started tooking for places to eat at 8pm, we arrived here at 9:30 and were initially told that there were no tables without a reservation. We asked if we could wait (it was not offered until we asked) we were told it would be about 15 minutes.( it was more like 10). The hostess wasn't at all friendly, she had a very sour look on her face. We were shown to our table that still had crumbs on it. The server approached and dropped the menus without a word and left before we could ask for a menu in English. He returned 5 minutes later and asked if we were ready at that point we were able to ask for an English menu. He brought them and returned in 2 minutes. We ordered drinks that came quickly. It took us about 10 minutes to decide on dinner and had to flag the server down to order. The food took about 20 minutes and was hot and fairly good. We noticed the manager and other servers checking on tables, but we were not checked on once. When we were finished we had to again flag down the server to ask for a desert menu. He decided on the vegan cake which was also good. The menu seems to be a little overpriced as the portions are not very big. I give 4 stars for food, 2 star for service, 3 star for price point, and 4 star for ambience.

About Vitosha, not San Stefano but couldn't find it here. Everything was brilliant, food and drinks. Our waitress seemed to be constantly in a hurry, almost felt like she didn't hear the last sentence. In one of our dishes was a hair and when pointed at, the waitress went to investigate in the kitchen. When she returned she said "the kitchen is sorry ".
Been there and in San Stefano quite a few times, won't return.

Friends living in Sofia take me to this place, located on the upper floor of a new modern shopping center. Inside, it’s posh – and fake - 19th Century décor. We arrive with reservation and are promptly taken to a dingy far away table. After some negotiations and the necessary exchange of cold cash, we end up in a better location, from where we can freely observe the fat cats on a nearby table. My friends enlighten me that some of our neighbors are well known politicians. I’m sure they are spending their own money, right?!
The menu is only in Bulgarian, so I have to rely on my friends’ translation. We pick a selection of local appetizers including some house cold cuts, dips made of yogurt and eggplant and feta cheese. They all prove to be very interesting to say the least. For main course I avoid “crunchy pork ears” (I once had two dogs that would fight for those) and pick Pork sauteed in butter with garlic and herbs: this proves to be delicious. I cannot find a wine that I’d like to I stick to German beer and it goes well with my pork. Service is distracted and conceited, prices look on the high end.

I have arrived again here after 1 year, hoping that maybe the service has improved.
Unfortunately, no: the waiter that served us, was really bored, we asked him if he can give us more details about some dishes and redirected us to the online menu to see the pictures(ofc, there aren’t for all the dishes). We had to keep our eyes on him to call him so we can order, because he was in no mood.
Another thing that caught my attention: there was another table near us that asked for the check and he gazed at them to see if they leave any tip(the persons at the table even noticed that). It was very rude of him.
Related to the food we ordered: average at the best for the price asked. Also the food did not arrive for all of us at the same time, it came at different intervals and a bit cold.
I will definitely not return here.

When the food is so fantastic, you expect the other parts like service, drinks handling and cleaningness would be at the same standard.
But no, on the way out I needed a visit to the toilet. Perhaps I should have done that on my way in, as the cleaningness was not satisfying. Rubber boots would have been more practical than my sandals!
When I meet toilets of this standard I am doubting what standard the kitchen is working at?
If I had seen toilets before ordering our food, I would not have eaten at this restaurant.
When telling the staff about the dirty toilets, they excused with a busy day. What about the busy day in the kitchen?
But the food was fantastic. The wine was served excellently. The waiter was professional and take well care of us.
So why get a poor judgement because a simple thing as keeping the toilets tidy, is not performed!

My boyfriend and I wanted to try authentic Bulgarian food so we came to this restaurant, located on Vitosha Boulevard.
Everything was perfect. We asked the waitress for recommendations and we had a great night. Eventhough we were pretty full, we still ordered dessert and it was amazing.
The food was very tasteful, it was plenty and our waitress was very sweet.
Would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant during your stay in Sofia.

Located right on vitosha with indoor and outdoor seating. Surprisingly affordable. It looks elegant. Many of the dinners are meant to feed two. Menu in Bulgarian or English. The two of us has lamb with bread and a side, a glass of wine each and dessert for 50 Bulgarian lev. Not including tip. Service not included. Good service so we did leave one,

The restaurant has a pleasant interior and delicious food, the service is shallow, but the prices are unjustifiably high! A check showed that at the central market in Sofia, a kilogram of tomatoes costs BGN 2 - 2.50! This means that for a 300 gram salad, the amount of tomatoes in the salad costs you less than BGN 0.50! This goes for all the other products in your salad! The retail price of "Shopska salad" is no more than 3-4 BGN, but in this restaurant it is offered for 14.00 !!! 250% markup! Unfortunately, this also applies to many other restaurants in Sofia. In addition, restaurants are supplied at wholesale prices, which are lower than market prices! In the restaurants in Sofia there is an insane speculation with the food and this restaurant is an example of that! Unfortunately, there is no price ceiling in this country and everyone sets whatever prices they want! What a pity! The user is harmed! As always!

The food was nice but the service is the worst service i experience during all my trip to Sofia. We ordered 2 duck fillets with cherries for main dish, but the waitress heard the goat cheese with cherries that they serve for starter. As soon as she brought the two starters we told her very nice that she brought the wrong plates and she was insisting that she was 100% sure she brought was she heard. We tokd her politely that we ordered the duck filllets twice, but she was rude and insulting. I didn't expect this behaviour, especially in this kund if restaurant.
They brought the bottle of wine which rhe never put in ice bucket and never served us.
They brought the starters without plates, so we couldn't start eating until we asked them to bring us plates.
After all these the manager and the waiteess were discussing infront of us rhe whole night about what happened to our table and she never apologized for her behaviour and never came to our table again for the whole night, ignoring us when we wanted to order desert.
Also they offered us twi free desert as excuse for the waitresse's behaviour, but they didn't asked us what kind of deserr we wanted based on our taste but they brought whatever they wanted.
I had the worst serbice experiemce and just because of that i wouldn't recommend it to other people despite the good food.
