Place is nicely decorated, waiters welcoming, nice quality for reasonable price. The only minus is that starter come at the same time as the main dish. We will come back.

Best Muckalica you will ever have! Worth the trip in to the hills for the food and amazing view. Great meat and pita all cooked fresh. Service is great. Outdoor space is beautiful and is great for large parties. True Bosnian cuisine with an authentic...flare.More

Thanks to our foodie BnB landlord, we chose Basca Kod Ene for Roast Lamb. What an experience! Only a 3-Euro taxi ride from town, high up on the hills, hidden amongst local homes. Smiling chefs and waiters await, assuring of the best cuts (if you...go early) Crazy delicious desserts and liquors complete an incredible meal. All that plus sides, wines - for just over 10 Euro. It's really a Sarajevo insider tip. Be sure to make reservations specially for the Roast Lamb. Its cooked to be ready at 1400 hours and another serving in late afternoon. If you don't book a table (and tell them you're going for the lamb) there will be none left for you! * This is a HALAL place. Good for Muslim diners *More

The setting, high on a hill overlooking Sarajevo, is gorgeous. And the lamb on a spit is to die for. It was a meal we won’t forget.

Fantastic mućkalica and čorba, excellent service, lovely garden/bašča. Its better to take a cab from the city centre that is quite cheap and it is good to have a reservation so you can enjoy this wonderful food and place. The guy who served us was...one of the sweetest waiters ever.More

We came to have dinner but staff told us to leave because all tables(at least 6 tables) where free and were not marked as reserved. Staff judge us by our appereance and we felt undesirble in this place, as we do not belong here.More

We are very sorry you didn't find your place, but we want to ensure you that we don't judge anyone by anything. It is just usual that all tables are reserved by phone even they are not marked as reserved (we even don't have that...More

Very good place with an excellent view. Extremely enjoyable atmosphere to come in the night. Food is really good. However, i’m not a big fan of these overcooked flat taste Bosnian dishes, but.... this is what the local kitchen offers. Make sure to have a...reservation in advance!More

Located on one of the hills which surrounds Sarajevo, great view.Small restaurant decorated in old Bosnian style. there is beautiful garden in front, this beautiful location, hard to find, but with a taxi no problem (taxi from the center is not expensive around 6-8 mark...-4 euro. Reservations are recommended. We came with local friends and they ordered delicious local food for us! Especially "Meat" and tasty salads, accompanied with nice good white and red wine. If you are a meat eater, you should not miss this restaurant! Fortunately it is not that easy to find, and I think this is the reason that there are mainly local customers. Beautiful view over Sarajevo and the snow mountains. It is nice to sit in the garden on large tables or in a niche. The staff was friendly. If you are in Sarajevo, this is a must!!More

This is one "out of the path" restaurant where they serve great local food! Luckily, it is not so easy to find, and I guess that's the reason one does mostly see local patrons, rather than tourist crowds. Best thing is to make a reservation,...because on beautiful, sunny days it could happen that all the table in the garden (basca) are taken - and that would be a real pity! The view from up there down to the city is stunning, as is the food and the friendly staff.More
