I'm not really person who goes often to restaurants in my hometown... :) However, this was the occasion where we went as a team, celebrating the end of a successful year. The food is simply stunning. Real homemade feeling, where the meals like "Bosnian pot","dolmas" or "klepe" (Bosnian ravioli), tasted almost like at my grandmother's place. :) Highly recommended and... More

Centrally located, this restaurant specialises in food as 'grandma used to make', which is an excellent thing. Both my wife and I had superb meals at a very reasonable price. Good bread to accommodate the wonderful sauces too.

Very tasty food. Traditional food and traditional decoration. We enjoyed eating Lokumi, Klepe and some kind of Bosnian gulas (cannot remember the name). They serve wine which is strange (but welcomed) on Bascarsija. Waiter was nice. Prices are normal. I think 1 starter, 2 main courses, glass of wine and 1 beer was cca 35 euros.

Great good, inexpensive, nice setting. The food was not what I would call healthy eating, but so far nothing I have had in sarajevo is for the diet conscious. Really nice flavours, they serve wine and beer (which I understand is not a given in the old town) and the staff were nice and all spoke english well and without... More

Absolutely amazing. The mixed Sarajevo sahan with stuffed cabbage, pepper, and zucchini just made me smile. Very satisfying dish and atmosphere. And the staff was perfect in their service.

I was brought to this gorgeous little restaurant by a Bosnian and a Croatian friend keen to show me local cuisine. They said they wanted a light meal (which I think is Bosnian for feast) and ordered for me. We started with a veal soup which had huge chunks of slow cooked meat through it - delicious but quite oily... More

I'd love to give "Nanas Kitchen" a 5 rating as it has a fantastic reputation among locals and the food was of a high level but it lacked atmosphere completely for me. The service was good, though considering I was the only person in the restaurant I was waiting a while for some staff to finish taking selfies before being... More

We have BOSANSKI LONAC and KLEPE. This is traditional and local food, and it's very, very tasty! Music is also a traditional and beautiful, the staff is very courteous and professional. One of the best restaurant in Sarajevo.

I was invited to enter by a waiter, and this isn't a good sign (tourist-catchers...), moreover the tavern was almost empty, and this is a bad bad sign. However, when I sat down, I looked over the menu and I ordered a quarter (25 cl. = 0,44 pt.) of table-wine (stolno vino). It arrived with the bill of it: 12... More
