They sure can prepare a steak. Dry mushroom sauce and grilled vegetables. 9/10. Girlfriend ordered filled paprika - total dissapointment, not cooked enough, to plain taste. Service very good, nice private street. Price total with 3 drinks and salat - 20 eur.

Our family of 5 visited my husband's aunt in June 2016. She took us here so that was a good indication that it must be good. I was feeling a bit under the weather so had the begova (chicken & vegetable soup). It was so delicious and I felt better almost instantly! We went back again the next day. Service... More

Recommended by the hotel receptionist and a way to experience Iftar or Muslim 'breakfast' during Ramadan it comprised of a set meal. Starting with dates, then cheese and egg Topa, then chicken soup, then various meats and vegetables stuffed with meat and finally some very sweet deserts. Accompanied by lemon juice and finally with a choice of regular or Bosnian... More

The food good, the service excellent and good people watching. My combo plate of different speciality dishes was tasty and the right amount of food. A touristy restaurant that has God food. Waiter was on top of everything. Nice Old Town location.

After about half an hour of searching for a place to eat, we finally found a place at this restaurant. I do not know if this is usually like this in Sarajevo, or just during the Ramadan, but everything was reserved in the old town. Anyway, although it wasn't our first choice, it ended up as a lucky find. We... More

The restaurant is right in the heart of the old town on a side street. The food was excellent and the service was superb. I had Tomato Soup and my husband had Meat Ball in Tomato Soup. Well worth a visit and not over expensive.

I ordered a tomato/cucumber salad with cheese as a starter. I can recommend that. As a main course i took the veal steak which was really nice, no fat at all. Mixed vegetables were on the plate, beside that in also ordered a portion of spinach. Unfortunately the spinach arrived when I almost finished the meat. The food quality however... More

I had high expectations since this was a recommendation from local people. Food was average, and service was slow. Or I was too hungry to wait more than 30 minutes, and they had bad day...

The food in Pod Lipom is always outstanding. I highly recommend their steak stuffed with cheese and Bosnian prosciutto. They have a good selection of wines, and their prices are very reasonable. Good Bosnian coffee, as well.

Not the friendliest of places - the soup was nice though we found the food to be very greasy and salty. The area is very nice- right in the old town

Enough to say this is the place where Bill Clinton ate when visiting Sarajevo. Please add "Bosnian" in field type of cuisine, since Bosnian food is a unique combination of oriental and Mediterranean food.
