We arrived around 1 pm and it was crowdy and busy but nice ladies who work there served us fast with kindness and smile. Four of us ate mantije, potato pie, cheese pie, all of them with pavlaka on top❤️ One of the best meals of my life! From the bottom of my heart I recommend SAČ..because of the great and budget friendly food, realy nice staff and realy clean place.

Located in the old part of town, just around the corner from the Baščaršija Mosque. They serve really good burek, straight from their wood-fired kitchen, where it's cooked under the bell (sač).
You have the choice of piping hot burek, sirnica (cheese), zeljanica (cheese & spinach), pileci burek (chicken), sjecani burek (veal), hlejdina pita (buckwheat cheese), and krompirusa (potato). They sell their servings by weight - so all depends on your appetite. Make sure you get a generous serving of yoghurt.
Pay at the counter and find a seat in the shade to devour your burek.

Everything was perfect. However, the portions are very large. I don't think it's possible for one person to finish it. We ordered potatoes and minced meat. Both were unsalted. The minced meat was crispy and delicious. We ordered it with yoghurt to keep it traditional, but it would be more delicious if eaten without yoghurt, with ayran on the side. It was the price of a 5km pastry, extremely cheap considering the portion.

The best place for börek that those visiting Sarajevo plan before arriving. All kinds of pastries are always hot and ready. We tried it with cheese, spinach, minced meat and zucchini. It is served with yoghurt on the side. Portions are sufficient.

Good price for the amount of food you get. vegetarian and carnivore options (no vegan). My favorite was spinach cheese, but they have chicken, beef, and cheese as well. It is served with sour cream, ask for a glass of yogurt to drink, $1 (not salty).

Let me start by saying that this was one of the best places to eat pita and we went there every summer. We went back yesterday and were very disappointed, the pita with potatoes was completely raw, we ordered the one with spinach, but that too had large, raw spinach stems, the pita with pumpkin and the one with cheese were not bad, I thought there is much better. The boy apologized and didn't charge us for the one with the potatoes, but I won't go back. I'm sorry to write this review because this was my favorite place…

The thing that makes this place stand out is its large seating area in a side road, it’s not in the main busy road which is nice and the food is very fresh. I recommend the meat burek with the cream thing on top. Very cheap about 3 different flavours for £4.30

We came in large group with kids, too. They said only three different pies are possible to order, we order them but in larger quantity. The waitress did not say anything, but brought only 2/3 of our order and said we should wait for 10-15 minutes to get the rest of our order. So we waited for almost an hour, I asked her what is wrong with our order, she said it is nor ready and cannot say when it will be done! I asked her why did not she say that immediately, so we could decide if we would have ordered or not, and she replied she did not want to disappoint us! Of course she charged the full price. Should be ashamed!

Wow, these bureks are good! With meat or cheese, potatoes, cheese with spinach. There are so many different ones and they are made under one bell (sač). This is something to eat in Sarajevo! Whether for breakfast, lunch or in the evening, you can always eat them.

We stopped here for lunch today and enjoyed getting a quick and filling meal. There are a few tables inside, but it's very small, so we got our order to go and ate outside. There were many varieties of burek; we tried one with potatoes (my favorite) and another with meat. We'd never had burek before but it was delicious and a fun new taste. One warning - it can be hot - I wasn't careful and burned my tongue.

This is a great, little local burek cafe, so much so that we came here twice. We recommend the meat burek and spinach burek, which are authentically Bosnian and delicious. Service is fast, portions are large, and the cost is low. Great place for lunch!

Whilst in Sarajevo, our guide suggested this place to try burek. Having had burek from a number of places in the city, I can hand on heart say this was the best, made in the traditional way under an iron bell. The shop is small and very noisy, but there is lots of seating outside.

I don't know what note to make because the food is good, certainly, but you can get choked by the treatment of the staff. There was literally a waitress we asked on three occasions and she didn't even look us in the face, then she ignored us and denied us the burek sauce... anyway, which was really nasty really so... I don't know. Go try but be aware that you will be treated terrible for being tourists.

Simply amazing. We love it. The crust, the ingredients, the price is super. We had Bosnian mint and cheese steak. Even my wife who didn’t like cheese pie loved it. Get right here without searching for a place. The staff is attentive and friendly. Card available.

We wanted to try local pita and burek dishes and this restaurant looked like a good spot but we were a little bit disappointed because we think there are better places for sure. Our burek was very tough, dry and cold. Service very unattentive.
