Highly recommended. Our Intrepid tour leader took our group to this restaurant. It was a highlight of very good eating on our two week lower Balkans tour. We arrived for a late lunch, and the outdoor area was quite full. Consequently we had a semiprivate room upstairs. Much more atmospheric as this is a large Ottoman house transformed into a... More

A friend and I ate here very late one night during our stay in Tirana. They were about to close but offered us a table anyway. Very friendly staff and good local food. Lots of outdoor seating so perfect for a summer evening.

An ottoman house rehabilitated provides a different flavor to dine in Tirana. The garden is very pleasant for the Summer time with regrets for an inadequate lighting.Tap beer is good ,albanian wine is drinkable. One course dinner was octopus deliciously grilled and served with pasta

The restaurant was recommended to us so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. As soon as we stepped foot through the gate we were greeted by the waitress. We choose our table outside and another waiter immediately came across with a menu and took our drink orders. The food we chose was lovely and we... More

Sarajet offers Albanian food. The service is good, the waiters are friendly. The prices are reasonable.

We ate outdoors. Salad was fine. Waiter was helpful. Bottle of Albanian wine was not exciting but had no defects. Mixed grilled meats very dry & overcooked. Price was fine.

Six friends walked over from Skanderbeg Square, about 5 minutes. Lovely mid 1800's mansion with Ottoman styling. Started with large platters of salad to pass, then a pass around of squares of white corn (maise) in yogurt. Nice selection of breads, leavened and unleavened, with a tasty butter. Then what our Albanian friend called a local specialty: vegetable chunks (like... More

First and only time I was there, the meal price was 1600 lek. I pay 2000 lek and the waiter on purpose only brings 200 lek back instead of 400 lek. Tips in Albania are not mandatory, but still it is very unethical that the waiter gets the part he wants from my exchange.

I live in the us, have family in Albania so decided to eat here since it was close to the home. Disgusting. I ordered seafood pasta and got seafood poisoning 3 hours later vomiting and high fever...continuously vomiting and very weak. All I know is that albanians are cheap and will serve anything to get money. I even had to... More

Tried a couple of local starters which were very interesting and mainly very tasty. One dish containing maize bread and yoghurt would probably be best described as an acquired taste! Rest of the food and local wine was good and reasonably priced. Friendly and helpful serving staff.
