I visited the restaurant twice Kukurec: organ meat wrapped in intestines, sounds weird, but it was very delicious at Oda. Delicious with their bread, salad or buttermilk. Delicious Pacarok: kind of corn-pie stuffed with a kind of pickled cheese and leek. Was very delicious and...unique for Albania. Delicious Tave Dheu: an Albanian stew with liver. Was very bland and I would recommend to eat it elsewhere. Average Lakror: Albanian style pie (similar to, but not identical to Börek), was delicious and to recommend. Delicious Kolloface: lamb organ meat cubes, mixed with rice and eggs and baked. Was not bad, but some kind of herb gave it an unusual flavour which I did not like. I did not try it elsewhere, so I have nothing to compare it to, but when checking recipes online, I think it can be extremely delicious, but I didnt really enjoy the one at Oda. It was ok, but not good. Average Sheqerpare: a dessert, identical to Turkish şekkerpare and similar to Bosnian Gurabija. Was not good at all, dry and too sweet. Not good Shendetlie: an Albanian walnut cake. Was not good at all, it was rather dry and too sweet. Not good Overall: avoid the desserts, try them elsewhere. Among the main courses and starters, there are some really wonderful dishes, while others are rather average (but they are not bad either!).More

I sought long and hard to find this place, based on favorable reviews. Rest assured, it is exceedingly hard to find, as it is down a very small, unmarked alley. Their signature dish is lamb, baked in a wooden oven. Mine was relatively dry, with...zero accompaniment- just a piece of lamb on a plate. The lady serving was not at all friendly, nor seemed interested in my business. They do not accept credit cards. The interior is very traditional Albanian motif, but the food & service were highly disappointing. I came with high expectations, so my disenchantment was all the more acute.More

Expected traditional Albanian food and got served some dry balls made of obviously old deep fried rice... We luckily ordered Lemon Soda, so we could drown the also dusty bread. Not a surprise: The pepper was filled with...? Exactly, warmed rice ;) The exception was...the eggplant, which saves this review the second star. The first is for the waitress who preserved me for ordering bones and innards which I don’t like. Maybe these were the highlights of the menu and we just refused them unintentionally... Btw the price-performance ratio was slightly (irony) unbalanced; If this restaurant serves real Albanian food, we know why all the locals just eat pizza..More

Tried the liver with cottage cheese but it only had about 5 small pieces of liver. Thought it was overpriced for the small amount of liver. Service was okay, might give them another chance some other time.

Out of all of the restaurants that I have experienced in Albania, this one is definitely the best one. The food, experience and service make it a wonderful, unique place. Don’t miss this traditional restaurant in Tirana!

We were very surprised about the positive reviews since our experience was not good at all. The waitress pushed us and brought food which we didn't confirm while ordering. Furthermore, the restaurant is a bit overpriced on what we got, the food quality was not...satisfying at all. Do not order the simple salad or the lamb. Absolutely not worth it.More

Oh my word this place was perfect! Felt like we were in an Albanian home eating a home cooked meal!! We really wanted to try authentic food and this was the spot!! We had the cottage cheese and peppers dish, the rice balls with spices...and for dessert the honey, nuts and egg cake. And we were stuffed for hours!!!! Highly recommend !More

The restaurant is just like home, 2 dining rooms 1 home size Kitchen. 1 server. She welcomed us at the entrance. The restaurant has so much atmosphere, food was great. She answered every question. My 5-year-old asked about one of the wall art (tapestry) and...the server give her a very much detailed answer. Thank You.More

The menu contains only traditional dishes and offers enough choices for both vegetarians and meat lovers. The service was warm and welcoming with friendly prices.
