Went there with a colleague for dinner on a cold winter evening. It was nicely warm inside, cosy atmosphere. Food was totally delicious. Albanian starters plate, vegetable soup with veal and noodles, Kosovo sausage with butter beans in an iron pan (a bit like a stew), the salad ... all was cooked with care and very tasty. They also pay attention to serve their dishes visually attractive. Note: no wifi. We asked the waiter for internet and he replied "we only have Cabernet" ... loved the cool response, so true! Focus on the food (& wine) not your phone! Would definitely go again. Recommended!

One of the best dinner places in Tirana

I was there in end of July after a recommenation my friend made. And it didn't dissapoint. Old-style environment was something that's difficult to find these days as every restaurant want to be as much modern as it's possible to be. However , apart from that meals were delicious. We ordered a chicken and pork meals which were more than enough in size.

First Day in Tirana

Tasty food and friendly efficient service. Our waiter, Erald, spoke excellent English and helped me with some Albanian. We ordered an espresso, salad for two, large bottle of water, soup, and corn bread with melted cheese. They also have a large menu selection.

Horrible delivery service

I ordered food online from their delivery menu. The food arrived late and cold and they charged a delivery fee although it is very clearly written on their menu that delivery in my area is free of charge. I never order from them again.

One of my favorite restaurants in Albania

food tasted very very fresh, well seasoned, didnt take long to prepare, and beautifully served! the waiters were very kind, wore masks, and recommended amazing albanian dishes since we’re tourists and don’t know what to try. the place is clean and classy. very family friendly and has options for Muslims that don’t eat pork or alcohol Review written by Jana Konbaz

Extremely pleased!

My wife and two pre-teen children had a very early dinner here and we were all happy with our meals. Friendly service, extremely clean facilities, - a very cozy, nicely decorated restaurant. Staff were very accommodating with our dieting needs. We would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Traditional Style Cuisine and Atmosphere

Whilst visiting Tirana, Albania we met at this restaurant with friends and family as it was a restaurant well recommended. We found the restaurant very accommodating and we all found the choices on the menu we chose to be very delicious. The atmosphere was great and we were not surprised to see people queuing outside waiting for the chance to get in to eat!! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Good food, very poor service

It’s nice that the menu is both in Albanian and in English. We tried a traditional appetiser and traditional main dishes. They were really good, well cooked and pleasant looking. The service was really bad. We sat outside because we had our dog with us and we could not go in. We really felt like the waiters forgot about us several times. We waited for about 30 minutes from the moment we sat down until we got our drink (we ordered a large water bottle and a beer, did not get the beer). As we ordered an appetiser, we thought we would get that first and then the man courses, but we got everything at the same time. For desert, you have to ask the waiter what they have, since that page is not in the English part of the menu. We ordered a cheesecake which was too sweet, and a brownie which was overcooked and dry. The bathroom is very small and was quite dirty at lunchtime. Lastly, they don’t have wifi. So if you are a tourist with no roaming and lunchtime is your time to check your messages or whatever, you won’t be able to at this restaurant. Too bad, because the food was really tasty. I would not return.

Great food, lots of traditional options.... Something for everyone

Lovely extensive menu, including many traditional Albanian dishes, as well as pizza. Menu available in English. We were a large group and average bill per person was €15 for shared platters/salads for starters, individual mains and plenty of house wine all night. Highly recommended if you are visiting Tirana and want to sample traditional foods.

The best food I had in my 2.5 weeks in Albania

A day later I’m still thinking about how yummy my meal was at Era. I had the bruschetta and the gorgonzola ravioli and it was so delicious! Very high quality - both tourists and locals love this place and now I know why! Definitely go here where in Tirana and you won’t regret it. There is a wide range of food available including traditional Albanian, salads, pasta, pizza, and other continental dishes. Prices were slightly higher than elsewhere but it was worth it for the quality of the food. There was both indoor and outdoor seating available. All waiters wore masks and had good English.

Great food and service

Our group of five visited this restaurant for dinner on the 10th of July 2022 and were impressed by the food and service. As it is, communication in this city is very stressful as very few people speak English or even make an effort to communicate with their guests however in this restaurant we were pleasantly surprised! Olti our server patiently took our order and guided us through the menu. When I asked for the wifi password, I was given a card that said "Less Internet, More cabernet!!!! ". :) That was so funny! :) Great place for a visit for a friendly service and excellent traditional Albanian food! Besides it was VALUE FOR MONEY!!

Great for lunch or dinner

Absolutely Wonderful. On the pizza part of the menu it said "I had a dream that I will be eating pizza. Tonight, I will be eating pizza. My dream will come true" How cool is that? This is a very popular place with great food and service. I always thought of it as the restarant with the checkered table cloths. They have another place, close to th "pyramid'.

Fabulous food and Great service

We found this lovely restaurant as it was near our apartment when visiting Tirana. They serve a wide range of traditional and Mediterranean dishes all of the highest quality. The staff are happy and friendly willing to describe the food and help with your holiday plans. The restaurant is always busy but efficient and in the end we visited 3 times as we enjoyed it so much. We would highly recommend the food, service and staff as it was a great culinary and cultural delight. We hope we make it back again soon.

Love Era!

My son chose to eat here for his birthday because it's one of our favorite restaurants in all of Tirana. You can't beat their Caesar salad:) The server surprised him with dessert for his birthday and he said it was the best dessert he'd ever had. We love this restaurant and will continue to go often!

Great local food

We really enjoyed this restaurant in Blloku. When we visited for lunch it was full of locals - which we always look at as a Seal of approval. The service was great and we were recommended really good local food. Especially thumbs up for the meze. Kidsfriendly with Tasty pizza.
