We asked Beni at Fare Suisse where to go for a quick supper. He said, "The Retro Bien SUR!. " Right on the front street across from the yahchts. We had a quick burger and fries. A beer each. Good price. And there was a band playing . Ok 2 guys and a synth. But also two tahitian dancers. Deal!

We stopped by for lunch while waiting to get on our cruise ship as we were walking and it was the closest spot open when most everything else was closed. We found it to be high-priced (though maybe that is just normal for Tahiti), but that would not have been bad if it was good food. Got burgers and they... More

We went here for dinner and lunch and it was fantastic. Portions are sort of big but you get your money's worth. Order the coconut shrimp. Plus at night they have karaoke.

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the Intercontinental but it was a big disappointment. Seems like every sandwich is served with a sunny side up egg on top and several strips of bacon fat (because there's no lean on any of it!) I ordered the mahi mahi sandwich and my wife had the grilled chicken sandwich and both... More

Convenient with a good range of food. Service is swift and the food of a good standard. Location is good but the road is busy and so it can be a bit fumey.

Location is the key.here you get to sit and watch Papeet goes by. One or two waiting staff are nice. The food is not what you would come here for. There was a string of long hair in a piece of fish that is half cold (from freezer to microwave?) on a dish with Huge amount of white rice, five... More

Outdoor seating with great coffee. The service could have been a little quicker but it was a pleasant outing with a great atmosphere.

We ended up with a six hour layover in Papeete. Took a taxi to the market. Le Retro is an outdoor cafe in the market area. We had lunch based on a store attendant's recommendation. Shared a mahi club with fries. Very good, especially with a cold draft Hinano beer. Walked the marina area across the street and shopped for... More

The cheeseburger w/fries and salad were good. For happy hour between 5 pm and, I believe 10 pm, drinks are 50% off. The mojito and piña colada were good.
