We ate here most days. It was a real pleasure to be able to eat reasonably priced restaurant food that gave us a break from preparing and cooking meals every day (a passion, but it's good to take a break).
We really care about our food and get very excited about pretty much every meal we eat. We were not disappointed here. There's not too much choice, but enough (which I find reassuring on a menu). What there is was very tasty and fresh. We ate mostly fish and veggie dishes and one of my favourites was Mahi Mahi in lolo (coconuty sauce to die for).
There was a mix of local dishes (mostly fish) and some other cuisines. They served quite a lot of cassava too, which was so lovely dunked in their sauces. I wish it were readily available in the UK as it's fibrous and soaks up the flavours. It's lunchtime here as I write this and thinking of their food is making me hungry.
The breakfasts were fairly basic western style things such as eggs, toast, cereal, but were fine. The lunches and dinners had enough choice and they did some specials each day.

We ate at the restaurant every day for breakfast, with lunch and dinner most days as well. The portion sizes are very generous and everything we ate was delicious. The tropical breakfast was lovely with fresh seasonal fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, toast and spreads. Lunches and dinners we usually had the vegetarian curry (as we are vegan) which comes with rice, roti, salad, poppadoms, chutneys, dhal and pickles. The chef also knew we liked it spicy hot and even gave us a bongo chilli on our last day! We also had the salad, dhal soup, veggie pizza and linguine without cheese which were all delicious. There are plenty of Fijian dishes on the menu (seafood and curries)- if the veggie food is as good as it was, I can only imagine how good the regular food is! There's also plenty of western dishes on the menu.

Must try restaurant on the Sunset Strip! Top quality food at reasonable prices.
The food at the Ocean Terrace is excellent - top notch and so much more reasonably priced than Outrigger.
Standout dishes we had were the Mahi Mahi, creamy coconut lime chicken, the Chef’s special chicken curry (a feast) and of course the apple pie for dessert!
To top off the food, is the amazing service from the staff here. Special thanks to Vini, Bulu and Bill for their warm service! -Jack & Ben

During our stay at the Bedarra Beach Inn we had a very healthy and filling tropical breakfast daily and ate most of our lunch and dinner meals here. Although the menu is not huge, there are plenty of delicious options, including local dishes. We loved the food and the people who work there! There were limited gluten and dairy free options. Highly recommend!

So, the service was quite slow...island time as it is known. But who cares when you're on vacation and you can get a seat with a nice view of the ocean. If you are a guest of the co-located Bedarra Beach Club, go for breakfast and then book your reservation for the evening meal to ensure you get a table with a view.
Our meal was very good. I had the mahi-mahi while my wife had the special of the pork medallions. I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you order. Can't wait till tomorrow night's dinner!

We recently spent three nights at Bedarra Beach Inn. We had heard that the restaurant was amazing, but it exceeded our expectations! In fact, we ate every meal during our stay there. One of our kids in particular is a real foodie and is pretty critical. She loved the food so much that she spent a lot of time planning her next meals, making sure to try everything she wanted to before we left. The staff was so helpful and friendly as well! Both the chicken burgers and the beef burgers were the best we have had anywhere in Fiji, so I wish this restaurant was right down the street from our home! The other thing that I appreciated was the consistency, if you ordered something and loved it, you could order it again another day or even a different time of day and it would be equally as good. This is a huge key to not being disappointing!

The restaurant is in the Bedarra Beach Inn and is a pleasant place to eat as it overlooks the pool, attractive gardens and beach. The food was very tasty and included Fijian dishes. The menu was not very large which is often a good thing.

The restaurant is open from 7am to 9pm (from memory). We had breakfast and dinner. It is lovely sitting out on the terrace looking at the beach and it's cool even in 30 degree temps. The menu is varied with the usual favourites of fish and chips (beautiful fresh fish), pizza, burgers as well as more local dishes like kokoda and curries. The menu is on the web page for Bedarra so you can chech out your meal options before you get there. My sister is vegetarian and that wasn't a problem - plenty of suitable choices. There was live music each night we were there which really added to the Fiji atmosphere. All the meals we had were delicious. The lovo was incredible - four course meal and such a lot of effort put into it - the guys working all day on digging then preparing the lovo. I am still dreaming of the rourou soup in particular. Absolutely perfect in every way.

Ocean Terrace chefs were very adaptable concerning our food sensitivities and were willing to change meals from potato chips to cassava chips & extra chili!
Favourite meals were fish curry (can this be included in the Evening menu), chicken curry, kokoda, wahoo and mahi-mahi.
It was a joy to return and we hope it’s not our last visit. Vinaka vaka-levu Bedarra!

Delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere and a lovely location. We tried several places to eat and this was our favourite. The curry aficionado in our family rates the ones eaten here as some of the best ever. The fish in lolo (coconut milk) was a delightfully simple and tasty dish, accompanied by roti (the best I've eaten), highly recommended. What a great find!

As well as breakfast which was very varied, well cooked and prompt, we had several dinners.
The chefs special was a highlight which we partook of but also had a few meals from the main menu where we enjoyed the Fiijian cuisine. All in all, a very positive experience.

We travel for work yearly to the coral coast. Things change a lot and hard to keep up who owns what and service to expect .
Run via bedarra resort staff are exceptional and food is to match . On Saturday I had soup of the day (fish chowder) , beautiful followed by Fijian chicken curry (excellent).
You might not be staying here but all welcome and can make a nice change to options at other restaurants and hotels . Well team

We stayed at Bedarra as it was close to lots of eating choices, however after eating one meal at this restaurant, there was no need to go anywhere else.
We are making our way through the dinner menu with every dish perfect.
Staff are simply beautiful. They know us by name, know exactly what we eat for breakfast and know our choice of beverage.
The perfect holiday experience.
Everyone needs to stay and eat here.

We stayed at Bedarra Beach Inn for 7 nights and ate at the Ocean Terrace Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Why go anywhere else when you are completely satisfied. Great food, gorgeous staff and even live music in the evenings. The meals were all so reasonably priced and a fantastic choice with new specials every evening. If you are staying at the Outrigger do yourself a favor and take a short stroll down the road to the Ocean Terrace restaurant. They have a happy hour every evening from 5 to 6 and make some yummy cocktails.

Lovely fish meals of Mahimahi & when Waloo was on the Specials menu. Mongolian Chicken a favourite for my husband with lemon tart and apple pie as favourite desserts. Staying at Bedarra Beach Inn we ate there every evening. Book a table if you want a table on the terrace nearer the pool
