We came here twice during the week we were in Fiji. The first time we had the chilli chicken, spicy fried fish and banofee pie. Everything was delicious, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is very cozy. The banofee pie is so good we came back the second time just for the dessert. A must stop place... After getting over resort food and prices, we wanted to get to the local areas and eat traditional Fijian food. After a recommendation from our taxi driver we were taken to Tu's Place and weren't disappointed. The food was delicious. Large servings. Low prices. Absolutely recommend doing this. The resort food is western and expensive with small sizes that they... More

Went here with a group of of 12 people here for Habitat for Humanity. The waitresses were all incredibly nice. The atmosphere was very dinner/grandma's house which was nice and warm. The food comes in huge American-sized portions so you won't go hungry for sure.

We went for dinner one night. The staff were warm and friendly and the food was outstanding. Really good traditional Fijian food. The cocoda is exceptionally good. Can't wait to go back!!

Based on all the good reviews I decided to take my parents and partner for lunch today. We drove from Lautoka (where our cruise arrived) and took good 30 minutes to get there. Once we arrived I was actually dubious about the place since it is in the middle of a dusty road and from the outside it looked shabby.... More

Had dinner here on the first night we arrived in Fiji. It was a great introduction to Fijian food for my boyfriend who had never been to Fiji before. He especially loved the Kokoda. The staff are great... very friendly. We loved the food and the atmosphere!

If you are looking to try some local Fijian food this is the place to go to. Kokoda, fish, curry and a few Asian dishes from breakfast to dinner its just amazing although staff a bit on Fijian time so expect to wait on some occasion but overall its a great local restaurant with quality Fijian food at a reasonable... My husband and I enjoyed our meal here last night. Felt it was one of the best we have had in Fiji. This is a comfortable basic restaurant with friendly staff and tasty food. A nice change from the resort prices and quality. Definitely recommend and will return.

After reading many great reviews we thought that we have to try Tu's. Not a great idea. Maybe we had back luck. The meals were huge in size (maybe this is what gave them the good ratings from budget travelers) but the taste of both our meals was a lot less than expected. I had to send my noodles back... More

The location was attractive because it was an indication from the hotel concierge, but in fact the food was quite cold and the service was not so good.
