We have been eating at Tata's since 2010 and always had a great tasting meal and a good serve. Unfortunately, our last visit will be our last. The food was a real disappointment. The serving size of food was half of what it used to be. The dahl soup was tasteless as was the curry. The goat was hardly cooked... More

Very very disappointed. After reading good reviews we tried it. Requested 4 curries and water. Got charged for "plates" + large curries portions while they were definitely the small size. Note that we don't care of the price as far as it is justified, in that case it wasn't. On top of that, we were able to fill a "large"... More

When I was brought to Tata's for the first time, it took a lot of convincing to get me to agree walking in. It's literally a shack by the road and next to a river. I wasn't impressed with the location. There's a kitchen and an exposed veranda that is the seating area. An exposed sink to the left and... More

We used to live in Fiji and Tata's was always a place we'd visit for delicious curry. So, when we went on holiday to Fiji last month this was our first port of call. The curry is still quite tasty, but the vegetarian portions are really, really small. As a family we'd order either rice or roti with two veg... More

I was looking forward to a curry from Tata's all holiday. Did not disappoint. This is my go to place when in Fiji. It looks a little rustic but don't be put off.

We ate here last here so decided to take my friend here in July 2016 and the food is still amazing. It needs a bit more of tying up for when you first walk in its not appealing but the food is great. The first impression you will walk in and think what a dump if you had never been... More

We ended up visiting this place 3 times! It seems to be really popular with the locals which is always a good sign. The food was great. Loved the Fiji-Indian style curry and chop-suey. I had the nakai (mussels) curry one evening and it was delicious! You can usually see the rotis being made fresh as well. The vegetable menu... More

It certainly is no frills. Take the waitress's advice on availability of dishes. The food is excellent and pleasantly spicy (beware the small green chillies). Amazing value 3 adults and 2 children for $68 (Fijian). As often happens the meat is on the bone so be prepared. We had chicken, lamb and fish curries and all were first class.
