Nice place for breakfast! We had Coconut pancakes with fruit that were really tasty! No waiting for a table - got right in. Giving 4 stars because our pancakes were supposed to come with fried bananas but they were out of bananas. We would return!

I visited Rarotonga in January 2017. I found Cafe Salsa to be a nice departure from the other restaurants on the island. It definitely had a more hip New Zealand vibe to it. The breakfast menu has a great selection of healthy options including eggs and smoothies. Their hollandaise sauce for eggs is pretty tasty too. For lunch, the salads... More

Right near the beach is this latin gem. I am a huge ceviche fan so I tried the cousin of ceviche here...the Ika Mata. This is a raw fish salad with a bit of a zesty cream sauce. It came with garlic bread, too! It was done really well. I was on my own, so I didn't order much else.... More

I always end up having a lunch or two when visiting Rarotonga, Salsa offers good food at a reasonable price, service is friendly and reasonably quick. A great little cafe with plenty to offer

A group of us local ladies stopped for morning coffee. Unfortunately they were very bad. The large coffees only had one shot. We were told that was how they make a large coffee - so only a single shot but more milk in a larger cup. Not a double shot - (you pay for the extra shot on top of... More

Great cafe right in between of all shops. Nice owner and all foods looked delicious. The coffee and milk shakes were very good.

Visited Cafe Salsa for lunch. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. We found the staff friendly and attentive. The Vitamin Sea smoothie was delicious, but the garden gangsta was a bit different, but still nice. The tropical salad was very good, as was the fish sandwich. Definitely worth stopping in for lunch.

Food was ok. A little pricey for what it was. Set outside and breath the exhaust fumes. Would not go there again.

We have eaten at the Cafe Salsa for breakfast and lunch on each of our 3 visits to Rarotonga. The food is tasty and well portioned. There is a good variety to chooose from and the prices are reasonable. My favourite is the Hamtomchee toastie. We will eat there again.

Thank Sharon L
