Went to Bamboo Jacks which is more Malaysian than Thai. Ordered a beef dish (cant remember the name ) and Pad thai. The pad thai was nothing like a normal pad thai. The beef dish which was almost like a chop suey was good but I would not recommend the Pad thai at all. Atmosphere was good, feels authentic.

My hubby and I were recommended Bamboo Jacks while we stayed in Rarotonga. We had lunch there on the Friday, which was the only day open for lunch otherwise it was open in the evenings. We were there as soon as it opened, so no one else was there yet, but the waitress was lovely and very welcoming. Bamboo Jacks... More

I recently made the sad decision to give Bamboo Jacks another try. I had vague memories of a pretty average experience a couple of years ago. The restaurant was not overly crowded when I arrived Monday around 8 pm. One large table of around ten people and maybe 3 couples. No one had any food, just drinks. The waitresses seemed... More

Love this for a change from just seafood in Rarotonga. Great atmosphere and the menu is superb. One of our favorites to eat at for 2 or with a crowd.

We just had takeaways from here but they were lovely! I wish we had tried it earlier to be able to have a few more meals from the menu. However, the 40 minute wait was a tad long. Glad we weren't dining in with the kids or they would have gone crazy. Loved the meal though.

Beautiful food & interior to restaurant. Unfortunately the service was very slow & the one fantastic waitress was rushed off her feet.

I feel surprised to see a different restaurant in Raro. The Thai soup is too hot, the steam bun is tasty. The meal is not cheap, but reasonable.

I do not mind waiting a reasonable amount of time for a meal in a restaurant. Usually means that is being prepared freshly just for me, it is reassuring. However when you have to wait twenty minutes just for the order to be taken and further thirty five minutes just to grill some scallops and add an insipid sauce to... More

We ate here once during our visit and really enjoyed the meal. The restaurant is spacious and very clean . The restrooms were modern and clean. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is very nice inside and out. We had a family of five seated in outside area, Service and food we excellent I can recommend the dumplings and crispy pork dish. A little pricey but what isn't in the islands!
