but feels a little worn out by now. All ok, but missing the love a bit, that magic they had before. Hard to keep that up over so many years I know, but should give it a go again.

We were looking for Italian food, good pasta and this restaurant came up in several stories. I was apprehensive after reading a few of the Trip Advisor about pricing and service but our experience was extremely positive. Upon restaurant we were greeted by the owner who was seated at a table outside doing paperwork. The waitresses for attentive and sincere... More

We dined with friends at this restaurant and were delighted to be presented with authentic Italian food and house made pastas. In addition there was a cook outside grilling vegetables , chorizo and steaks on a wood fire. We chose to sit inside as the last remaining table was quite close to the fire and we weren't sure if the... More

We remebered eating beed there years ago and it was good. This time we went back again and got s little disappointed, maybe because we didn't eat any meat. As for price, the wine list showed very expensive ones, so we had beer and soda. Nevertheless, when the check came, in our opinion, it was a bit too expensive for... More

I knew this restaurant many years ago on a traditional corner on La Aguada, a busy neighborhood near Montevideo´s train station and harbour. It was very famous for its excellent food and typical "old times atmosphere". Some years ago they moved to a much residential and elegant place, in Punta Carretas; we just went there for dinner with a couple... More

This restaurant has the best pasta in town!! It tasted heavenly!! The location is beautiful and we felt at home!! I had spinach and cheese malfati which was perfect!! Awesome wine, good food, good place. Would say the waiters need to be more polite. Definitely go there for pasta, you wont regret!!

Fantastic service but given the price, food was not commensurate with price. Service was fantastic. We also asked for a small green salad and while not referred on the menu, one is available. We had pesto sauce with spaghetti and ragu over macaroni. Main course were just OK. As a reference point, we spent $80 for two bowls of spaghetti.... More

Just went yesterday and I fell in love with the place...besides the atmosphere the food is great.....I had lamb ribs with quinoa risotto (to die for!) and then for dessert they made us a special which consisted on some local peach (with an amazing flavor) with sabayon and ice cream and honey decoration...everything was perfect...great time in Montevideo..worth every penny

Great ambiance, the restaurant is furnished and decorated with great taste. I was in for some fish, and it turned out that the only choice was salmon (two items I had chosen were not available as they "had not yet printed the new menus"). It was just a slice of roasted salmon, slightly overcooked, over a rather nice aubergine cooked... More

Delicious food for a fair price. There were only locals when we went there and it felt very nice being in a place where tourists usually don't go. The menu is very interesting with many choices, including the wine menu. It's a little expensive but worth. It seems fair for what it delivers.
