good location close to the Sheraton Hotel, food Ok, service average, pricey! Environment too dark, not a cozy place. Would give it only 3 stars could improve decoration, service and presentation of the dishes. Could try again in a while.

This well known restaurant has been an focus point of good eating for many years. With an extended menu, but esspecially known for it's parrilla. Good and friendly service with good price list. Conveniently situated next to the Punta Carretas shopping centre.

I had dinner here tonight alone at the bar but was not alone for long and had a wonderful experience with the bar staff and locals. Over a mixture of Spanish, English and Italian I had lovely dinner conversation to accompany my dinner of blood sausage and amazing Uruguay steak coupled with some Uruguayan red wine and sparking water. Kind... More

Some of the best scallops and grilled squid we've ever had! Service was very good and the atmosphere was relaxing and quaint. We went 2 days in a row for lunch! It was THAT good.

Had a good lunch. Nothing remarkable, but nothing disappointing either. Better than most places in that neighborhood.

Interesting menu. We just tried the starters, of which the croquete was too floury and the shrimp not well clean. The scallops and the squid on the other hand, along with the homemade garlic mayo were really good, would go back!

On our last day in Montevideo our group stopped in at La Perdiz for lunch. A wide range of excellent choices were presented, and all of them were both substantial and delicious. Be aware, however, that you will pay dinner prices if you are stopping in for lunch. But good value for money, nonetheless.

The restaurant is busy. Service is average. I was not very much impressed. The wine list of white wines is poor and way overpriced. For starter I ordered kidneys (rinones). Horribly cleaned. Smelled piss. It was chewy. I have never seen kidneys served without the inside being cleaned out. The beef ancho was way overcooked. The beef was fatty. Big... More

We went to La Perdiz for lunch on a work day, and it was quite full. I am a coeliac and they had options without gluten. My two companions had meals from the normal menu and they were really happy with their choices, and so was I. The atmosphere was nice, relaxed, comfortable on a very hot and humid day.... More
