This is one of the best places to visit. Very hood service and food. You can enjoy your plates with very good wines. Price is not cheap.

When you stay in Montevideo longer than 3 days, you are bound to experience "parrilla suffocation" as alternate styles of cuisine are few. However, the most significant problem with alternative restaurants is that they are all under the surveillance of a secret police organization which I call "The Anti-taste police". When you seat at an italian, or armenian or chinese... More

Food was good but not spectacular. Very slow service. Restaurant was full even though it was a Monday. I would go back and give them a second try...maybe it was not a good day...

Immediately upon arrival we felt welcomed by the lovely staff! This only increased when the chef himself came out to offer suggestions and take our order. Delicious samoas and curry made this place stand out for us amongst all the different pizza/parilla restaurants Montevideo has to offer. The ambience is perfect and the iPad menu makes for great interaction as... More

I had high expectations coming here because everyone in Montevideo keeps telling me it's really good. I don't know why they try to be high tech and do a tablet menu which really just makes things confusing and less classy than a traditional menu. As I was trying to decide, the chef basically comes over and tells me what to... More

Went to dinner with 5 or 6 colleagues and associates that were local. We had the room downstairs to ourselves. We split several starters including mushrooms, bone marrow, and morcilla. The marrow was my favorite. For entree I had the duck breast which came with a pumpkin purée and red sweet 5-spice type sauce. I really enjoyed it. We had... More

Normally I HATE (x3) anything with "fusion" in its description, because that likely means a place is not really special in any one of the types they're combining. That's not the case here and they won their 2015 award for great reason. I wanted something different and they had so many things. I had baked scallops which were absolutely top... More

Last night I went to Tandory with a group of friends. We were greeted by his chef, Gabriel Coquel, who took care of us during the entire dinner. We each ordered a different dish so we could try a little bit of everything. The entres we chose were Salmon Tartar and Caracú, both amazing! When the main courses arrived I... More
