Nothing out of this world, but a constant good quality through the years. Pizza just as you want it (Uruguayan style) with tasty tomato sauce, freshly baked, served generously. We had enough for three adults with one "pizza a caballo" (pizza covered with fainá) and one muzarella (pizza with so called muzarella cheese).

For my gf and i was a great experience. Muzza was great as well as faina. Muzza and bacon is a must try if you're a bacon lover. I recommend it.

A place not to miss if you like pizza and happen to be in Pocitos. The pizza is excellent. I recommend the muzza and acetunas (mozzerella and green olives). There were so many olives I had to be careful to keep them from rolling off. A family treat and a good place for take-out.

A place to take away or eat there at the site (stand up). Good and simple pizzas with good value for money.

I expected a bit more. Pizza is ok and you have just that : the rectangular Uruguayan pizza with many toppings available. Be aware of asking for mozzarella ( pizza in Uruguay may come without it if you don't ask) location is nice and the place is typical, not fancy or romantic

The pizza was is not as great as we're told, it's just an average pizza that I would recommend to change/upgrade the receipe. The cheese is not real muzzarella, the sauce is too light in taste and the pizza dough is pre-made, so you'll not have the taste of a real nice and fresh pizza... Regarding the faina, it could... The pizza here isn't the kind that'll blow your mind. It's just good enough to be tasty. It's way better than the pizza that you can get in those chain stores like Pasiva or whatnot. My observations: - Crust is thick - In my opinion the pizzas are a bit too cheesy, but that's really just personal preference - Pizza... More

I'm not certain whether this listing is for all locations or just one of the Montevideo locations of El Horno de Juan. I see they have pizzerias in Pocitos and maybe Carrasco (Av. Italia). I visited their location in Mercado Agricola. The pizza with mozzarella was pretty good. Lots of cheese and the oregano topping is an excellent combination. Faina... More

This was excellent pizza and a friendly place. Loved the faina too. We'll go back for sure. I recommend it whole-heartedly.
