Best Italian pizza in Montevideo by far. I have been there several times, I have never been disappointed.

We 7 people went to this town by cruise. We ordered a dish of mixed barbecued meat for 4. The size was really too big. It composed nearly various parts of a cow, from innards to steak. It was worthy of money but the food...was a bit salty. The receptionist was very active and friendlyMore

We were yesterday there (6th time or so) we ordered two big pizzas to share and ravioli. Ravioli were better than expected, and pizza great. Waiter always in a good mood. We will certainly come back.

This is a place to go only if you are hungry and have no other option. We ordered a 4-cheese pizza and it was extremely salty and full of oregano (what?). You can easily share a big-sized pizza, I am saying this because the waiter...gave the impression we could not, so order one first and if the hunger persists get another one. The staff is nice but unfortunately it was a bad day for the pizza maker.More

Nice waiter and quick service. Pizza fresh but just basic. Thin crust is flavorful. Decor fairly basic with a small front area and larger main room to the back. All brick lined with historic soft drink bottles lined up on the walls - remember the...diet cola, Tab from the 70's? Light crowd at 8:00 pm on a Friday night. Starting to fill up as we were leaving. Looked like large family groups, birthday celebrations, neighborhood regulars.More

Pizzas were both great, veggie options are available. Waiter was very friendly, he didn't speak English and we speak just a few words Spanish, but we had no problems ordering our food. Nice seating area outside, lots of locals were there.

After having a couple of disappointing meals (bad service, overpriced food) in South America, I decided to look up "good value for money restaurants" in the city I was visiting, Montevideo. I was really pleased with this recommendation. Don Ciccio's is a lovely, family dining...experience. The portions were generous, the ingredients were fresh, and I would have paid more than the bill came to for such an experience. (I shared a salad and pizza with my sister) The waiter was attentive, friendly, professional and efficient. An overall really impressive dining experience I would recommend to anyone.More

I have been trying a few, quite a few, places for pizza locally and have found them over crusted with tasteless cheese and strange ingredients. This place comes very close to a great pizzeria. The ambience is fine,on a pleasant square and the staff courteous. They could...ask their motorcycle delivery people to get mufflers and smoke elsewhere but for MVD this is a keeper!More

Good solid food, excellent thin crust pizza, and good ambiance. Ojo de Buey a special treat pizza with mozzarella, bacon strips and a fried egg in the middle. Outstanding service!
