We ordered online and only got half of the food we ordered. The food was definitely not wat we would call authentically indian. The Raita tasted like water with cucumber, tomatoes and onions. The tikka massala (actually this food had nothing in common with real...Tikka massala) didn't have much taste. Portions are small and we paid way too much for what we got. Don't go there.More

Long time elapsed between us getting the menu and seated. 35 minutes, after we entered this place, to be precise. They did take the order (from this limited menu) but had to wait so long for the starters to arrive. Final arrival of food was...nothing to write about. It was of mixed quality: On one dish the spices were not properly cooked, another so over salted it was barely edible, others OK but not brilliant. Ice had to be requested for the soft drinks. Not expensive but was not cheap either. Staff were another let down.More

Run by a Uruguayan/Indian couple, the dishes are varied and tasty, the level of spice is chosen when ordering. Medium equates to what an English curry fan would consider as medium! A number of the dishes are or can be made vegetarian. Nice experience except...the trip advisor map indicates the wrong address.More

Service good. Menu quite small with very limited choice but can understand as getting Indian spices & other ingredients may not be easy. Bread not upto standard. Can keep options of paratha if Tandoor not available. Curry is quite watery. Should pay attention.

The food is mainly from Northern India, and is well done. You get the option of asking for different levels of spiciness: "Uruguayan", with no spices at all; "Medium"; "Indian", and "Extra Indian". Portions are small; entrées are particularly costly. Should you want to eat...in proper Indian style, with your hand, it's not clear how you'd clean up later.More

Meh is the best way to describe this place. TripAdvisor ratings led us astray on this one. Food was marginal overall. A far cry from most of the Indian food we have enjoyed over the years. Not somewhere I can honestly recommend.

We were dying for something tasty, not steak and potatoes, after a month in S America. The tikka masala was lovely, although I felt it was more like a Thai curry. Would recommend none the less as the food was good and service was too.

Sometimes in Montevideo you need a break from the steady diet of beef and sweet potatoes, and this is the place to do it. A charming neighborhood restaurant with absolutely lovely waitstaff and delicious food. The palak paneer is the best I've had in the...US or the UK. (I haven't been to India.) The decor is light and fun, and the atmosphere festive. Apart Soni, who I believe is the owner and/or chef came over to talk to us and could not have been more delightful. They even have that most unusual of features in a restaurant here -- and interesting beer selection. I can' recommend this place highly enough. They also start serving earlier than most restaurants, a boon to those of us having trouble adapting to the Uruguayan dining schedule.More

My wife and I went out for a romantic evening and decided to try Moksha out for change. It was absolutely worth it. The food was favorable and had so much taste and personality. The owner and cook came out to check on us to...make sure all was good. “Well it was fabulous, rico comida.” So glad we went. We will totally visit again.More

I really needed some good curry, It's not easy to find in Southamerica. I was referred to this restaurant by the staff of Hostel Ukulele, and didn't disappoint at all. Very good samosas ;)
