We loved the setting and ambiance of this restaurant as well as the food itself! Our waiter was so kind and accommodating as well. It is conveniently located right on the plaza but doesn't feel crowded and noisy. One thing I would recommend is the...hot chocolate - one of the best ever, and we take it sin leche with only hot water and it was still delicious..like, really really delicious!More

The main seating area is 2 large tables in a small garden. I only saw one other table for 2. It is in a corner off the market. I think it is also a hotel. Large menu with lots of choices. My wife has the...traditional chicken stew, aji de gallina. I had the homemade pasta. Both were excellent, although the stew.was bland. I wonder if the other reviewer is right about asking it to be picante. Neither of us could finish our meals. Large portions.More

This place was the worst dining experience. The food was blend and inaccurately described on the menu. My partner has a sever egg allergy and both his dishes came with egg though it was not written on the menu. The waiter took the egg off...of the plate, but unfortunately he still could not eat it. They still charged us for this dish. Over priced, blend tasting, and absolutely awful service.More

This restaurant is an oasis. It is much more appealing than the market outside. Very attractive inside, with a very nice, and attentive, staff. We enjoyed the pumpkin soup, chicken with peanut sauce, and the lamb dishes. We did not feel rushed, but we did...not feel that we spent too much time having a meal, when there was still a lot to see. Tip: A lot of the food in Peru was bland and salty. We found out that restaurants think Americans like their food this way. One should ask for the food to be as the locals like it. We think it is called "a la limena" - or maybe "picanta".More

We visited Pisac market with my wife, kids and parents. We walked through the market, finding very nice locally manufactured things. After that we found this very nice restaurant/hotel, small but with great services, architecture, hommie and beautifully crafted. The food was delicious, also the...beverages. Everyone's meal got the job done! The special attention from the crew, specially Misses Roxana, did this a wanderful experience. Thank you very much!More

Cuchara de palo is an amazing restaurant right on the main square of Pisac, located in the Pisac Inn. We have enjoyed dining here for several years and we are never disappointed. Our favorite dishes are the trout dishes, alpaca with saúco sauce, seco de...cordero and quinotto. The staff is attentive and the ambience is lovely. Highly recommend!More

My wife and I enjoyed a late lunch at the indoor atrium of the Pisac Inn where Cuchara de Palo is located. This was our first meal in the Sacred Valley and served as an excellent introduction to sample traditional Peruvian cuisine. Atmosphere was intimate...with native plants and decor throughout the small hotel courtyard where 4-5 of the tables were located. Service was very attentive, with the waiter answering questions about ingredients and addressing food restrictions / special requests. The food was very well executed, with flavorful preparations of Peruvian staples such as la causa (the local description for a presentation of various potatoes species), alpaca, trucha (trout) and quinoa.More

One of the dish was cold, when we asked for it to be warmed up it was not much warmer. I had pretty good food, my wife just has had no dinner... For a restaurant that prides itself to be high quality, very disappointed with the...service.More

A truly outstanding high end meal in the setting of a garden in a beautiful hotel. The service was impeccable. The food is on par with any high end New York restaurant I’ve ever been to.

I ate 3 meals a day at the restaurant and never eat that much at home but I had to try everything. The staff is professional, friendly and 5 star.
