Incredible place, impeccable, very beautiful and organized. The owner of the place is one of the kindest people I've ever met

Good food and outstanding service. We also tried the midday menu and it was delicious. Totally recommended!
We ate here this afternoon after an arrival earlier in the day. At 5:30pm, we were the only patrons. It has a simple atmosphere, very clean and tidy, with pleasant background music. We are halfway through a month- long journey in Peru and have eaten...at a number of restaurants with fare for which the country is famous. Tonight did not disappoint. I had Andean ravioli, stuffed with spiced alpaca and covered in a delicious huanciana sauce; and my wife enjoyed Caihua, pepper stuffed with potato, cheese and spices in a tomato sauce with quinoa. Both dishes were delicious, as was the brownie with ice cream dessert we shared. The pisco sours were great, too. From its upstairs perch on the street leading to the Ollantaytambo Sanctuary, we highly recommend Uchucuta Restaurant. Great spot, great service, great food.More
Amazing restaurant with excellent food and service. We ordered the rolled trout, the quinoa soup, quinoa salad and the chicken soup. They were all delicious and well presented. The service was also very good. I highly recommend this place if you want to have good...food in Ollantaytambo!!!More
We returned to Uchucuta 8 years later after first finding them in 2015, this time bringing our children with us to Peru for a Machu Picchu adventure. Although in a different location than when we first discovered them, we still enjoyed a similarly fantastic meal,...and there was something satisfying to making Uchucuta the finale to our day of hiking/exploring both trips. Upon hearing of our previous experience, the manager came up to visit us & thank us, providing free desserts (which were also delicious!). And the Uchucuta sauce was as delicious as we remembered! Thanks, guys!More
After a long climb to the top of the Incan ruins and reconstructions, we stopped here on advice of local guide. This was an excellent place to find refreshment. We had coffee and hot chocolate to start. Both were excellent (and we have high expectations)....The waiter brought out a nice plate of toasted garlic bread while I awaited my bowl of pumpkin soup - and with the soup, yet more of the toasted bread). The soup was excellent and beautifully presented. The restaurant is situated such that we could see some of the ruins and the staff was friendly and helpful.More
Went there with my wife by recommendation of our guide and the food was excellent the best meal ever. my wife had alpaca and I did the lamb tenderloin which was so tasty we also had passion fruit pisco sour and the service was also...excellent recommended 100% if you are around the sacred valley.More
We had a great meal here. Very fresh. Good drinks. The waiter spoke Very good English. We had Alpaca and it was very good. We did try the “rice pudding” but it’s not pudding consistency- just FYI. It was good , just not what we...expected.More
Great fusion food with traditional Peruvian cuisine as well. Service was great and the waiter was attentive to our needs. We notified our waiter that we had a time limit so they were able to serve our food quickly.
We had one of the best meals at Uchucuta Restaurant during our vacation to Peru. The staff was very accommodating, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere fun. I highly recommend this restaurant to all when visiting Ollantaytambo in the state of Cusco. Thank you...for the wonderful meal. Candida D’Avanzo, Simon Herrera, and Weston Bridges.More
A little gem and definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the Valley. They offer unique twists on traditional Peruvian dishes and some excellent vegetarian options. Outstanding in every way! Couldn't recommend more!
Delightful restaurant with views of the mountains, the ruins, and the bustle of activity on the street below. My wife and I absolutely loved this place - our meals were delicious, our kind server was exceptional in every way, and the prices were reasonable. There...are many fine restaurants in Ollantaytambo, and your options can seem overwhelming, but do yourself a favor and try Uchucuta.More
We went here due to a vegetarian family meme we. They got the stuffed bell pepper with rice from the vegetarian section. We also ordered the hamburger and fries. Both very delicious and cooked to order. Saw the ruins from our table and was lucky...enough to see a light show and music due to a celebration they were having. Sergio spoke great English and explained all about the award they had received as most beautiful town. We were able to pay in USD which was great because we started to run out of soles. Highly recommend this place!More
We were taken there by our guide for lunch. The restaurant has the traditional look you look for while visiting. The food is very good with great options for vegetarians. The owner is very friendly.
We just go inside for try and it’s was soooo nice ! All was good and not to much expensive. Peoples are so sympathic and professional. If you are in the village you need to go in this restaurant.
