We used to dine here very often when living in Peru and remembered the fine quality of food, drink and customer service. So, almost 30 years later we come and surprisingly found the same qualities we remembered it for! Thank you for keeping up with the times, for maintaining impeccable premises and for excelling with your traditional wonderful peruvian cuisine!... More

Our taxi driver suggested this restaurant, and though hesitant we went. Surprised by the quality of the food and ambiance. Service very good.

Loved the food, the impeccable service and the ambiance, we ordered a couple of appetizers, pisco sour cocktails, duck and meat, plus suspiro a la limeña, everything was spectacular! Will visit again next time I am in Lima.

This is a signature Peruvian "Creole" cuisine Restaurant. Busy place on weekends, waiting time over 30 minutes . Service is fast and courteous, but food nothing to dig for. You can easily skip it and you would not be missing anything.

I was told this is one of the best typical Peruvian food restaurants, but it turned out other wise - try Siete Pescados Instead

We went to this restaurant for mothers day, we made a reservation at 1 pm so we could eat at a decent hour, but once we arrived to the restaurant they told us that the person that took the reservations for that day didn't tell the manager and so we had to wait like everyone else that didn't make a... I love this place! Every time I visit Peru I make it a mission to come here. I usually get the Causa rellena de cangrejo or Conchitas a la parmesana to start and then their Lomo Salgado. Make sure to leave room for dessert and try their Picarones!

I brought my husband to Jose Antonio and this is one of the best Peruvian food restaurants we visited. The "chicharron" (pork belly) is the best we had in the country (and we tried many). We come to Lima regularly and we've been in many great Peruvian restaurants (including many Gaston Acurio's restaurants) and this is by far the best... More

They were full and the waiters took half an hour to bring us the menu and then another half to start bringing the dishes. My brother in law asked "well done" for his steak and needed to return it to the kitchen as it was medium rare. Really dissapointed with the experience in general. It used to be a good... More
