Great spot for a quick and tasty bite

We had a quick lunch while walking around Miraflores. The two sandwiches we got (pineapple chicken and veggie) were both very tasty and filling. We also got some fries that came with some delicious dipping sauce. Finally, we got a maracuya smoothie, which was amazing. Definitely recommend this place. The cats at Kennedy Park seem to like it too. We had quite the crowd gather around :)

Terrific sandwiches!

It was definitely not the first time that I visited La Lucha. In this opportunity I went there with my fiancee, whom is a vegetarian, and there were great options for both of us. I ordered a chicharrón sandwich with fries and chicha morada, and she opted for the cheese and eggs one with peppermint emoliente to drink (everything we had was very tasty). As soon as I came back from washing my hands our order arrived at the table. La Lucha is a wonderful place for a meal or a quick snack at any given time with a wide range of sandwiches, fruit juices and hot drinks.

This place was a real treat, an unexpected delight for us two hungry travelers in the late evening. Our hotel nearby directed us to it. The food was surprisingly good. We ordered a plate of two forms of pork, various potatoes, and more. It was a generous plate, enough for the two of us, despite our hunger. The prep time was not long, the staff were very friendly and helpful. As a bonus we had a very pleasant conversation with another diner, a Peruvian fellow who was pursuing a graduate degree at Penn State. One of our best memories of visiting Lima, Cusco, and Machu Picchu.

We went here based on recommendation from our guide. There was one person that spoke English (thank goodness) and we ordered a few sandwiches and fries. The sandwiches were both good but the ham and cheese was the best. The fries were awesome. Juices looked good too, but we did not try them. Nice they have a few outdoor seats.

We were walking down the street and saw this restaurant with at least 30 people standing outside so we had to try it and see what it was about. We order a chicken sandwich, fries and one of the juice mixtures. The bread of the sandwich was good and the juice was good. The filling of the sandwich was a bit dry and lacking flavor. I don't understand the huge crowds that it draws but clearly, something they are doing is working for them. Maybe we ordered wrong and I am surely willing to come back and try again!

I am going to comment about the place located at the Jorge Chavez international airport, I placed my takeout order for a grilled chicken sandwich with the combo of potatoes plus a chicha, everything was normal until I realized that they were taking too long and people The people who had attended after me were giving them their orders, they didn't place my order and when they realized they were apparently missing something because they were talking to each other. We stood at the counter for five minutes and were ignored. Then we asked three separate staff to order and were told they couldnt even take our order since they had a large order they were preparing for take away. We waited around for a couple more minutes and walked away. There were no other customers in the store.

I can't say enough how much I recommend this place. I go to this place several times, and the food is delicious and not that expensive. Customer service is perfect. I usually order the shredded chicken sandwich, and their portions are quite good, and as I said, it is quite affordable in price. It's a pretty nice place, it's a pretty touristy place. I still love the sandwiches that do even if the variety of sauces offered is less than it used to be. The pork sandwich with sweet potato and onion sauce is magic and one of the first things I eat when in Lima. Delicious and affordable.

Delicious sandwich, but nothing exceptional. We ordered the traditional chicharón (17.90) with extra chicharron (+3.50) and it was good, but it reminds us a lot of the bread with beef from the street fair in Brazil. The fried sweet potato (small is 5.90 and large is 7.90) is very tasty and comes with some really good sauces! The passion fruit juice (frozen - 9.90) delicious! Good service and the food arrives very quickly! Worth the visit!

We were recommended to stop by this place, to enjoy their sandwiches, there are beef, chicken, pork.
