We had just got into Lima after a long few weeks traveling the country and we were looking for something a little different. This place was so good and inexpensive. There are just a few tables - you can order at your table or the...counter for take-out. We had the chips and salsa (which comes with half guac), quesadilla (which our 9 yr. old devoured) and the carnitas burrito that was enough for my husband and I to share. Quick service and great food! Also in the Barranco neighborhood, which is a fun Bohemian neighborhood to explore while in Lima.More

Although we weren’t sure we had found the right place at first as there is no sign outside, this is definitely the place for good Mexican food. The food was delicious, especially the sauces. We had burritos and we also tried the homemade lemonade and...it was really good. The prices are reasonable too.More

When our food tour guide told us he was taking us, gringos, to a Burrito Bar ran by a British guy in Peru, I was a little ticked. However, we decided to go along since the guide had lived a good part of his life...in San Diego, and I'm glad we did. We only had a fish taco and margarita, but it was one of the best fish tacos we've ever had and the various sauces were all on point. Muy rico.More

We enjoyed our burritos (went for barbecue beef). Really good value for money with plenty of meat. Just be warned absolutely no English spoken and menu is in Spanish. This is totally fine but just be prepared as she will ask you loads of questions....The waitress was very patient and we used google translate. You pick what you want eg burritos, tacos, then you pick the meat/veg, she will then ask you if you want brown/white rice, red or black beans, plus if you want all the other toppings (all included in the price), then lastly how spicy you want it. All in Spanish haha so it took us ages. 17soles for a burrito :)More

We enjoyed the barbacoa and chicken tacos. The staff are very friendly and the tacos ate delicious! Unfortunately the braised pork tacos were sold out. We would have loved to try those. In all a great shack to enjoy tacos and beer. Nothing beats that....Recommended.More
