My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and service.. highly recommend ! A little on the expensive for Peru’s standards but of very high quality. Pisco Sour also blew our socks off ! ☺️

We visited this little restaurant in Miraflores on recommendation from our hotel. The entrance is in a dark alley which made us a bit worried at first, but we were quickly greeted by a friendly lady at the front. The inside is casual and bright,...More

Small and cosy place, very good attention and fabulous food. The "octopus causa" is a most and I would bet that any other dish is as good as well.

Yngrid as our server helped us to select a perfect dinner: Pisco sours followed by incredible artichoke soup, scallops with quinoa and a pepper steak. All followed by chocolate truffles and ice cream. The atmosphere is whimsical and somewhat bohemian. Reasonable prices, too. Go!

This is the 'hole in the wall' type of restaurant that you read about: great food, reasonable prices, with good service. It was recommended by the hotel--and was worth every bite. Try the grilled octopus--delicious!

Yngrid was so kind and spoke great English. The food was the best I had all trip, and the pisco sours were top notch. The ambience is colorful and quirky.

Reasonably priced. Ordered appetizers and two entrees - tuna and sword fish. Maybe it's my personal taste, but fish was overcooked. Service was good.

I had a lovely dinner + drinks with my husband. Osso Bucco as our entree and grilled octopus as a shared appetizer.

Saqra, from the Quechua language meaning “little devil”, “naughty” or “mischief maker”. Saqra also refers to one of the characters found in the festival of the Madonna of Carmen in the village of Paucartambo, Cusco. Here, this happy little devil wins the heart of the Madonna with his childish pranks and mischief making as he dances around her playfully in the procession. These ideas inspired the creation of Saqra as a restaurant bar that offers modern Peruvian food where we reinterpret the Peruvian identity in a playful and contemporary key, conjuring up fun and colourful results. Saqra, in essence, is not really a place but a state of mind where this little devil plays a delightful host who wants that all his guests live a unique experience, where they meet again with their the inner child, sometimes long lost.
