We visited Saqra based on TA ratings and concierge recommendation and it was well worth it. We went for dinner and despite arriving 30 minutes late due to typical Lima traffic we were accommodated immediately with an option for indoor or outdoor seating (sort of chilly so we stayed indoors). Interesting takes on some typical Peruvian dishes (ie mushroom seviche,... More

I love this restaurant in many ways, one of my favorites at Miraflores. It's a surprise when you enter the place, because from the outside it doesn't reflect all the art of the walks, chairs, the details on the bar, the awesome bathrooms ( yes awesome, you need to see them) "Modern food that preserves the tradition of our Peruvian... What's not to like about a place that serves amazing food and drink, has good service, offers value for money and has a batman picture on the wall. Traveling around Peru - would definitely come back.

When the owner came out and asked if I used my knife for Osobocca(?) (which I didn't need; my fork could divide it quite easily) - or the server brought out desert and we all just stared at it... Yep. Fantastic meal! Great atmosphere, clean, good service.

Peruvian food is superb and this little restaurant is a tiny example of excellence. We were with a travel group of 25 people on our last day and four of us discovered this place near our hotel before leaving for the airport. Just excellent!! Menu, menu design, furnishings, colors and of course each dish we chose was perfectly presented and... More

Honestly, the food at Saqra tasted so good that we wondered if it really tasted that good, or were we just really, really hungry? Between the three of us, we enjoyed the rockfish and the mashed yucca (x2), and the steak and gnocchi. Our dishes were incredible; simple yet richly flavoured ingredients, fresh, perfectly cooked, and simply delicious. We scraped... More

Dinner that we had was not worth the money. Positive aspects were the pisco sour and ceviche. But the rest was a little bit dissapointing. Service was good and fast. Overall price/quality did not fit.

After a ten day trip on Peru without a doubt saqra was the best restaurant I visited. The traditional exterior constant with a colorful, hip, mix of color inside. Service is top notch the waiter explained the dishes and made fantastic recommendations. prices are very good. Quality was the very best.

Visited on our first night in Lima. Began with a stunning flavoured pisco, the grilled ictopys starter was perfect as were both fish dishes marinated white fish and swordfish we had for our mains. The pineapple pichero ( donuts) were good for two and certainly punched above their weight. Nice atmosphere too .Will definitely be back at the end if... More

Saqra, from the Quechua language meaning “little devil”, “naughty” or “mischief maker”. Saqra also refers to one of the characters found in the festival of the Madonna of Carmen in the village of Paucartambo, Cusco. Here, this happy little devil wins the heart of the Madonna with his childish pranks and mischief making as he dances around her playfully in the procession. These ideas inspired the creation of Saqra as a restaurant bar that offers modern Peruvian food where we reinterpret the Peruvian identity in a playful and contemporary key, conjuring up fun and colourful results. Saqra, in essence, is not really a place but a state of mind where this little devil plays a delightful host who wants that all his guests live a unique experience, where they meet again with their the inner child, sometimes long lost.
