Came here after looking at reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed! All our main meals were incredible! Best food we have had on our trip so far. We also ordered the three chocolate truffles with fourspice ice cream and banana creme brulee which was delectable. They even ordered us a cab and walked us to the taxi to ensure... More

Visited Sagra twice during a 2 week holiday to Peru and on both occasions the food was fantastic. On the first visit I enjoyed a great mushroom ceviche and a delicious beef main. On our return I enjoyed a lovely seafood ceviche and the osobucco which just fell away when cut. Such great flavours and great, friendly service. If you're... More

The best meal I had in a week of eating three meals a day in different restaurants. The atmosphere was upscale, the servers were fun but it was the food that sealed the deal. I ordered the Ají de Gallina even though I had already eaten it earlier in the week -- it was sublime! The owner came to find... More

Just got back from Saqra (means Quechuan devil) completely stuffed - and we only had appetizers and dessert! We shared the garlic shrimp and mushroom risotto, which were both tasty. Another of us had the octopus, which he said was delicious, and then the beef kebob (which was called something else but I can't remember - sorry - but wasn't... More

Excellent! It is a quiet enclave in a very busy city and the food is great. Found it through trip advisor and the reviews brought us here.

The presentation of the dishes was great as was the service but the food was only average for the price. I've been in Peru a month and was going looking forward to great dinner after returning from a week in the jungle but left a little disappointed that my experience did not match many of the reviews I'd read. For... More

Was recommended by our hotel for lunch. Located in quint side street. Very friendly hostess who was very attentive. Lemon grass Pisco Sours may have been the best we had on our week trip to Lima and Cusco. Food was very tasty.

After a trip down the Amazon River and back in Lima Miraflores, we hooked up with some fellow travelers and had dinner here. OMG! Food and service was fantastic! I understand why Lima is a food destination city and Saqra was one of the best!

Suggested by our hotel, everything about our experience at this restaurant was exceptional. The staff was friendly and allowed us to sit wherever we wanted. We focused on seafood dishes, which did not disappoint. We started with the ceviche, which incorporated huge corn kernels that were so delicious! I had a fish entree with mashed chickpeas, which was out of... More

Cosy restaurant in Miraflores with outside seating option. The decor of this place is eclectic. Food was to die for. We being vegetarians were not sure but the dishes were outstanding. I would recommend the Andean Ratatouille for main course and Pineapple Picarones for desert. Must go if you are in Miraflores area. Its a bit on the expensive side... More

Description
Saqra, from the Quechua language meaning “little devil”, “naughty” or “mischief maker”. Saqra also refers to one of the characters found in the festival of the Madonna of Carmen in the village of Paucartambo, Cusco. Here, this happy little devil wins the heart of the Madonna with his childish pranks and mischief making as he dances around her playfully in the procession. These ideas inspired the creation of Saqra as a restaurant bar that offers modern Peruvian food where we reinterpret the Peruvian identity in a playful and contemporary key, conjuring up fun and colourful results. Saqra, in essence, is not really a place but a state of mind where this little devil plays a delightful host who wants that all his guests live a unique experience, where they meet again with their the inner child, sometimes long lost.
